So I’m officially 4 weeks post op everything is going ok. My skin is still so tender from the lipo. I love my results I’m just sad I lost some projection and at as m swelling went down. So there are times I feel like damn look like I did before but that’s def not the case. I am more curvy now and I still ha e a bottom it just not the 1 day post op booty. Naturally in a small girl and I weigh about 125. So it’s good for my shape and frame. No one told me how rough the lipo recovery is!!! But looking forward to a full and complete healing. Also still haven’t gotten my feeling back in the back area yet. Overall I am happy with the results and my dr choice.

Post op
I’m one week post op...it’s a struggle still by I’m doing fairly well. The plane ride home was the worst and seemed to set me back some and I had increased swelling. I started my massages back home and it hurt so bad. I need it though so I have about 10 scheduled every 2 days. Other than that...my kin hurts. My waist and back seem to be the ora but it’s getting better. I have mastered sleeping in my stomach!!! So that’s good. Everything is moving right along as it should!

Hi just reading up your reviews as I have my sx with mendieta on June 10th which is also on a Sunday! I’m also going with eos recovery Home as well. What do you believe is necessary to bring with you? I’m trying to figure out what all I need to buy before hand but I also hear that eos also has supplies as well? Also I purchased the garments and massages and foam board but I hear there is a stage two faja but I know it’s going to be more expensive if I buy it there. What all did you have to purchase post surgery? Sorry for all the questions

You are fine!! Congrats on tor Sx date!! R is an awesome doctor. Eos does have supplies, so u really don’t need much. Clothes and personal hygiene. I was initially going to Assistance for life who didn’t supply things so I had already purchased my stuff before I switched. I would get the arnica gel. They had the pills. I did contour fajas for my stage 2...she came out o measure me so I was custom made but worth every penny!! Get a pool noodle! I helped me and I also brought a boppy and sat it on top of my BbL pillow for additional cushion.

Oh did you purchase their $30 supplies? Did you purchase any compression socks? How much was it to get the faja stage 2 custom made? What’s a boppy? Is it different than the bbl pillow?

I didn’t purchase their supplies. I had already brought everything because I wa suppose to go to another hose but switched. But I know they have everything bc it’s out and available. I did purchase compression socks. Got some cute ones on amazon for $20...I was a 3pack. The faja prices range from $120-50...and it’s a $30 charge for the appointment to get measured. That worked for me bc I purchased a faja prior but I didn’t fit at all and o wasn’t sure how to measure for post op so I waited. A poppy is a support pillow for babies that’s u shaped. It’s different but I use both boppy on top of my bbl pillow bc the bbl pillow is a little hard under your thighs.

I made it to the other side!!!!
So my surgery was Sunday and I was so nervous. I went on Saturday for my pre op and all was well. I had to be at the office by 6:45 am Sunday morning. So once I got all checked in, Dr Mendieta marked me up. I told him what I wanted and he said he could deliver....let me tell you that he did just that for me! When I woke up, I was in pain, it wasn’t the worst pain but pain nonetheless. I asked the nurse for medicine that helped. 10 mins later our driver arrived to take us home. The EOS house of Healing recovery home is amazing....everyone!!!! They have help make this experience a pleasant one. The pain isn’t the worst pain I have felt(my opinion). The girls in the house were all so helpful and of course my Sx sisters!! Just make sure as soon as you get your meds in even if there is no pain. It maybe won’t get so bad if you do. I’ll report back soon...just trying rest for now but here are some after pics
