5 weeks post op photo update
WORTH IT
I am now 5 weeks post op.
I have seen some of the volume come down mostly between weeks 3-4 but I’m still happy with the overall shape and planning to get back in the gym once I’m able to and improve my results further. I’m literally wearing the same knickers as the day before my op so you can see how much of a difference it has made.

BBL with Dr Aslani April 2019
I had BBL surgery with Dr Aslani 6 days ago. I have been told I will not see the final results for several weeks because some of the fat in the hips and buttocks will not survive But so far I am very happy with the shape. I already had a fairly curvy shape but I carried excess fat on my lower back (‘love handles’) and my hips looked almost indented as a result which is the main reason I had this surgery. The recovery was terrible, it wasn’t so much the pain it was the discomfort of having to sleep in a certain position and being unable to sit all day every day. It is hard to even read a book or watch TV to pass the time because it means you have to crane your neck or just stand up for long periods which gets tiring. My nurse on the first night was particularly good, I was being sick from the anaesthetic and draining bloody fluids (this is normal) and really dizzy and she was absolutely lovely and really helped me through. My patient coordinator was also very helpful. Some of the other nurses at follow up appointments seemed in a huge rush and didn’t understand all the questions I asked as their English was quite basic. Safety was my main concern and I think Dr Aslani is the only Dr I would recommend friends to go to in Europe for this procedure due to his long experience specialising in fat transfer surgery. His technique is slightly different from the doctors in Turkey, there is a video on their Instagram page which explains the difference in a really clear way. He also has a very good eye and his work is really impressive. I will post some photos along my recovery if you would like to follow my journey for my final results.

Welcome to the community! I wish you well on your journey and look forward to seeing your final results.
Wow, drastic change! You look pretty damn good and you were still early in the swelling phase! How are things looking now?
Where did you get garments from on IG?
Congratulations! You look great. Did you lose much fat after wards? How much was your height and weight prior to surgery pls?
5 ft 2 and 9stone 5lbs. Yes I lost some volume not sure if it was fat or swelling. It was mostly from the hips, my buttocks have kept a lot of volume I would want my bum any bigger! I might go back for round 2 to fill out the hips more x
You look amazing. How many weeks did he recommend not sitting directly on your bum for? Some doctors say 4, some say 6.
4 weeks. It is good to start getting used to sleeping on your tummy beforehand too.
