Dr. Dogus is a waste of money & time - don’t bother

I had my surgery this year and to say my results are terrible is me putting it in a nice way. My experience with Clinic Hub whilst in Turkey was fine, the nurses are overworked but friendly. It is unfortunate that my doctor was just not up to par at all. I am giving one star because I can’t give zero.
I chose to go to Turkey for my BBL thinking it was the ”safest” option out there. Surgery as a whole is a risk and it’s all about the doctor you choose, it’s not about the country. I wish I knew this before going. Another doctor within Clinic Hub was my initial choice but I didn’t want a dramatic look/result so I felt Dogus was the best option for me. Biggest mistake.
I booked for a BBL and paid extra for upper back liposuction as well. You are taken to the hospital the night before and you pay in full on the day of your surgery before seeing your doctor. You’re also asked lots of questions by the anesthesiologist beforehand, and after that you meet the doctor. Firstly, Dogus only spends less than 10 minutes doing your consultation and you will not see him until the next day. Yes, you don’t even see him right before surgery. Surgery can be so nerve-racking and seeing your doctor before you’re put to sleep does help to calm you down, or even seeing your doctor after surgery would be nice. I never saw Dogus again until the day I was discharged (and it was only for 2 minutes).
During my consultation he asked my main areas of concern. I let him know I did not like my back rolls and that I wanted natural projection in my hips and butt. He made me sign a statement saying that liposuction I may need a back lift, which I found very odd because I was on the average-slimmer side and my skin was not loose. I signed it naively (and honestly if I didn’t sign, he would not have done my surgery anyway. It’s very manipulative).
It was when I was back at my hotel and took videos and pictures of myself whilst getting my massage that I realised Dogus barely did any liposuction on my back. Don’t listen to doctors who tell you that you’re “swelling” and everything you’re seeing will go down. I could see a difference in my waist and my abdomen immediately. So why not my back? As this was new to me I kept compressing, massaging etc. Even when I got back to the U.K. I still kept compressing. After a month, I still saw that all my back rolls were still intact and as a matter of fact it looked even worse now that I had a smaller waist. I complained to Clinic Hub a few months later and was basically told that it was my body’s fault and I need to wait 6 months to see my true results. They stopped responding to my further emails also.

Now I have to get another surgery to correct Dr. Dogus’s work because I look so out of proportion now and wish I did not even do this BBL. I look so odd and top heavy from the back and sides - I looked more normal before this. I have cried quite a few times as I feel a bit traumatised - going under anesthesia and putting your life at risk is not to be taken lightly only to not be happy with your result(s). Furthermore, the aftercare is not for the weak. Also, Dogus did not lipo my stomach evenly. Lastly, I asked for only my hip dips to be filled in and I was given some laterals (or maybe he left some of my love handles), which makes me look a little square and unnatural. I absolutely hate my results and the only way I look normal is when I wear loose tops. I can’t wear tight dresses or tops because my back fat bulges out.
The only solution for this is to now go and get another lipo/BBL surgery, which means more money and more downtime. After consultations with other doctors, the common consensus was that if I had gone to a good doctor in the first place, I’d have never needed to do this again as I was not big in the first place because I wanted natural results anyway. I was told by doctors that in their professional experience, it looks like Dogus did no liposuction to my back at all. I will be getting another surgery soon at a completely different hospital with a much better doctor for liposuction (and my doctor will correct the BBL to create a better silhouette in the hip and bum area).
PLEASE save your money and choose a better doctor. Pictures on the surgery table and NOT a true reflection of his results, trust me. There are way better doctors out there and one thing I wish I knew beforehand was that the liposuction is what is the most important part of the BBL. If your liposuction is not good, you will not have a nice shape and you can end up looking bigger than you were pre-surgery. The liposuction contours your body and give you the shape you want. Then the BBL is what gives you the extra curves on the lower half. If you’ve never done this procedure, I recommend doing your research for as long as possible, and talk to other patients so you can get a true analysis of your doctor. Good luck!
