On December 17, 2020 I was notified that Dr. Giancarlo a surgeon at Top Aesthetics would no longer be working there. I was given the option to get my refund back or have another surgeon do my surgery. I chose to receive my refund back. I emailed Top Aesthetics concierge on December 29, 2021 to get a status report on when I would be receiving my refund back and no response. I send a second email January 4, 2021 and finally received a response. They informed me that my refund was being processed but that the accounting team would take 3-4 weeks to receive it. I sent an email on February 8, 2021 asking for another status on my refund and didn't receive a response until February 10, 2021. The response I was given was that under no circumstances would a refund be given. If this was the case why was I given the option to get my refund in the first place? I no longer want to proceed with this surgery nor use Top Aesthetics as an option. I am very unsatisfied and disappointed with the entire process and feel that Top Aesthetics is not adhering to what was first communicated. As well as not answering my phones calls regarding this issue.

Your review is pertinent to a practice not this particular surgeon, and should be treated as such. Please be aware of the dangers to undergoing surgery at a practice with limited track record and a surgeon with limited experience.

You are the surgeon who runs this practice therefor what faults the practice has reflects poorly on you for allowing this fraud to happen to not only to me but many other patients (google review are posted). Now that you are aware of these fraudulent activities that are taking place at your practice, you are now warned that certain actions will be taken against your practice.

The surgeons do not manage the paperwork and office.. They are there to do the surgery, they relay on the office itself to provide. I am going thru the same situation with them and was devastated to learn the office staff did this and not the DR's. They are just as much victim as we are.. they don't get paid for not performing the surgery, and we are not seeing the refunds, so who benefits?

See I made the same mistake of blaming my surgeon at this same surgery center... However ladies remember that this doctors are more than likely only seeing you the day of your surgery, the rest of the communication is done thru the office staff. My issue was that I had made an in person visit to see my doctor, who advised me exactly what I needed to do. I followed his recommendations and his needs for my surgery to the exact regimen he advised. Only to have my surgery cancelled by the "Doctor".. Well it turns out that this office team told the doctor and the review team that I did not have all of my clearances therefore would cancel my procedure. Well that was funny because the pre op team actually emailed me all of my clearances on June 2 2021 for my procedure on July 8, 2021. How was that if they did not get them. They advised me that Dr. spoke to both my PCP and hemotologist and they rejected my clearances. I called and spoke to both of these Dr's personally and neither did any thing of this kind, and stated they would contact the center. To date they have not returned my Drs calls. Finally after the 3rd time telling Top Aesthetics I wanted answers they started refunding my payments, of which they have shorted me $1250.00 at this point, with no real explanations. Finally the surgeon finally called me after 3 weeks of going rounds with Natasha , Melissa and other office staff and he stated he was definitely not provided the clearances by the office team, nor did he talk to my Drs. WOW!! So the doctor did state that this does not seem to be an isolated case and at this time he has taken me on at another surgical location... so please if there are issues, dont be so hard on the doctors, just like us they are not getting the entire story and the center is making money even if they are not legit cancellation reasons. At this time I have contacted an attorney to not only get all the money that I paid for my procedures, but the time and efforts spent on all the visits, special massages, blood and urine tests, including a mandatory pregnancy test when I had a hysterotomy, all medical supplies that I purchased and had to pay for that are non refundable, in order to have this makeover done. Not to mention if and when if I decide to get this done I need to undergo all these tests again because they are not transferrable records from the facility. Thank you office staff... But on a note.. After posting on a Facebook forum, we (not just me) so far in last 2 days I have had 3 other ladies contact me with the same types of issues with this location. SAD very SAD. I wish not to see anyone's hope be brought down and told the devastating news that they have had surgery cancelled for lies and manipulation from this facility ( again it is not the surgeon they are contracted and there for the surgery only and rely on the staff of Top Aesthetics to provide facts and accurate documents for the patients.) They are making money on cancellations that are based on misinformation and no one is getting the truth. They wont even pick up the phone. Leave messages nope no return calls, they sent text messages from numbers and you don't even know who you are talking to, emails, no replies. But only will talk or converse with you when you owe them money for your surgery. I will just let the attorney deal with it from here on out.. but I have also contacted the BBB for the facility.. again not the Doctors this is not on them.
