Amazing Experience with BBL, 360 Lipo and Arm Lipo Part 1 of 2
Last August 2019, I decided to have a 360 lipo, BBL and arm lipo with Dr. Milla, I was hesitant at first because I never had any prior surgeries before and I was scared because of the negative responses that I watch and read regarding plastic surgery, I contacted Dr. Milla’s office and their response was very prompt about my inquiries, they also gave me a very cheap package pricing $$ which is way way cheaper than the ones that I found in the US so I also decided to have them inject my jaw with Botox since I am also suffering with TMJ. So my surgery day came I flew to SD on a Saturday morning and crossed the border at the same day and stayed with my friend in TJ for 4 days before the surgery.
Morning of the surgery:
I arrived to TJPlast at 0730 fasted and prepared for my surgery, they quickly put me in a room and asked some questions, and I met with their anesthesiologist who gave me the briefing on what to expect, then Dr Milla came to the room and did some marks and took some pictures of my body.
Then, they brought me to the surgery room, and asked me to lay on the operating table and put my head on this round jelly-like pillow, I closed my eyes and that is the only thing that I remembered, and it felt literally just a blink of an eye and when I opened them again. Hours has passed and I was already in the recovery area and I was being attended by two to four nurses asking me how I am feeling and that I did great with the surgery. I didn’t feel any pain, just cold, so the nurses gave me a heated blanket which helped in getting rid of the cold that I felt. After a few moments, I was transferred back to my room and went back to sleep. In the evening, I was told that Dr. Milla didn’t go through with the ab lipo to avoid complications so I have to go back again for it.
After Surgery/Recovery:
The next day, I went back to my friend’s house, and everything was sore but the pain was bearable, the nurses gave me my post-op instructions and my medications. I didn’t stay in bed the whole time, I was still able to walk around the house and ride a vehicle in the next few days, some people couldn’t even tell that I had surgery.
Week 1 - still sore but I feel that I get better everyday especially with the pain and bruising.
Week 2-6 - bruising has rapidly decreased, still sore a little bit. results starting to show up
Week 7-present - I noticed a tremendous change in the size of my arms, I am so thankful that I had the surgery with Dr. Milla. my butt also looks nice and natural, I love the volume and the shape that I am seeing.
Recommendations:
Before the surgery, make sure to strictly follow what your doctor tells you to do, and I would also recommend losing some weight, eat more healthy foods with protein and also vegetables because this will affect the swelling and bruising while the recovery, there will be ups and downs while recovery, this is the hardest part, but as long as you trust your Doctor and you trust the process, everything will be alright.
Dr. Milla’s nurses and staff are very dedicated with taking care of their patients, I literally felt like a VIP because of the care that they have given to me. Dr. Milla also cared greatly about the safety of hid patients and is very passionate about his job and art.
