36 FINALLY Getting That BBL After 6 Years of Wanting

So.. In Nov 2017 I had a tummy tuck and still soooo happy with my results. Before that I had ALWAYS wanted a BBL because I'm not blessed in the backside lol I always wear shirts that cover my butt because to me.. it's disgusting. I have always felt this way. BUT I kept getting talked out of getting it done and then I had kids, so tummy tuck was my first procedure. Ideally I would have had my butt done first then tummy tuck cause the price is soooo much more now than it was a couple years ago. BUT such is life.
I had ALWAYS thought I would go with Dr. 6ix (Dr. Jugenburg), I even went to him for a couple consults and was going to go to him for my tummy tuck. He quoted me $20,000 for a tummy tuck, so yaaaaa NOT A CHANCE I WAS GOING TO PAY THAT MUCH. Insane. That was tummy tuck only.. not even a tummy tuck and BBL lol WHOA! So I found an amazing local doc to me and the rest is history. I contacted Dr. Jugenburg's office to get a consult and they said because I had a tummy tuck from someone else he wouldn't touch me for a BBL. Ooohhh ok.. next time I'll just pay $20,000 for a tummy tuck NOTTTTTTTTTT. So apparently he is Doc Hollywood now hahaha and maybe if I had an instagram following he would have. I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason and he was never meant to be my doc.
I went for a consult with a surgeon in Mississauga and then Toronto Cosmetic Clinic. I like the clinic in Mississauga but they don't really give the results I am looking for. TCC however does. And Dr. Bendago's work is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! The quote is on par with what dr. 6ix would have given and a little more than the surgeon in Mississauga... but TCC work looks the best by far. I went for the consult, got my quote and now will have my surgery Nov 1/19 - which gives me almost 12 weeks to heal before going to Mexico for my vacation in Jan. I will post some before pics so. I am so excited this is going to be happening!
My bf keeps saying I'm not doing it and that it's a waste of money and I can do squats to get my desired look - he's clearly delusional hahaha So he doesn't even fully know I'm getting it done. I figure.. my body my rules. And if he doesn't like it, he doesn't need to touch it hahahaha. I will have my friend take and there and home and my sister will stay with me for a week or so.

I just came across your profile, and I felt I had to share. Just like you I had a tummy tuck first, mine was in December 2018. I have a little bit of a butt but it's flat and due to my age (I'm 53) it's a saggy. I love the results of my tummy tuck and I'm very happy with the way my body looks today. However, my backside needs improving. I'm scheduled for a BBL in October, just a couple of weeks away. What we do we do for us please do not let anyone talk you out doing what you want to do for you. I congratulate you and I'm proud of you for taking a stand. Men do not usually understand why we do the things we do my husband is one of them.

You must be pretty excited that you have a few weeks before your surgery. I can't wait. My post op in on the 17th and then surgery on the 1st of Nov.
I have definitely not let anyone talk me out of doing what I want this time. My bf still tells me I shouldn't but he's not paying for any of it lol So he can say whatever he wants. Keeps telling me I can go to the gym and do squats for the same results. Silly man. Where are you getting yours done??
And seriously.. 53 is the new 40! My mom is 56 and just had a tummy tuck in the spring and she looks amazing. I always believe that people should always do what they want that will make them happier. We get one life.

I totally agree with you. Congratulations to your mom, I know she must be thrilled with her results. I actually typed the wrong year for my TT it was in 2017, I believe that was the same year you did yours. I have a profile on Realself if you're interested. I haven't put one up for my BBL yet. I'm getting it done in Boston by Dr. Del Vecchio.
Squats! Lol. My son said it best, "I go to sleep and wake up with the body of my dreams." Why go to the gym when there's plastic surgery. I saw that quote somewhere. I thought it was funny and so true.

Hahaha looks like we both have the same plans lol just a month apart with both our surgeries.
I had a look at your profile today. You tummy tuck results are amazing. Doesn't it just feel the best??? I'm excited to see your journey with the bbl.
Hahahaha wouldn't it be nice to just wake up and have exactly what we want?? Soon we will hahahaha

I thought I would reach out and say "hi." I had my procedure on Monday. I thought I was being smart to use the same compression garments I used when I had my TT. Boy was I wrong, they didn't fit and they wouldn't work. So please make sure you have the correct garments on hand. I had to send my son to Target to purchase one for me. And I had to get it a 1XL, the XL was too tight. Your date is coming up soon looking forward to reading your journey.

I took these this weekend. I'm currently a higher weight than I will be on surgery day. I'm 172 right now but will be 160 on surgery day. I find it easy to lose weight quick as long as I actually make myself do it lol. I'm super excited and nervous for this surgery. I feel like the next 8 weeks will go by fast... And then the nerves will set in. Hopefully I get the results I have in my head.

I went for my post op yesterday with Dr. Bendago. This is the first time I met him because I met with his co-ordinator Lori for my initial consult. He had a look at my body and asked me what it was I was looking for. I told him I want a butt.. but not a Kim K butt lol Showed him some pics. He said that he can only lipo so much and since I really really want (need) my back done cause ewwwww I said we didn't have to lipo the front. Plus it was already lipo'd when I had my tummy tuck. I would have just wanted a touch up lol I chatted with the co-ordinator and mentioned getting my chin/neck lipo'd instead considering I was already willing to pay the quoted price. So now I'm doing that too. The nurse that works there told me I didn't have to get drainage massages but I'm going to anyway, They do another type I can't remember what that is called.. Starts with an E.. and I get 2 sessions about a week or so after surgery. Essentially the same thing. They also provide me with Arnica cream, my first faja and my BBL pillow. I don't know any other surgeons in Toronto area that provide the pillow so that's nice that I don't have to get that on my own. I also found out that I don't have to stay in Toronto for the night because I don't have to go back to the clinic until 1 week after surgery.
I'm super excited and super nervous and I just can't wait to feel that much better about myself.

Girl you got this! Lol, I told my surgeon I didn't want a Kim K. either. Maybe a subtle J.Lo. Get all the lipo you can on that day. It's all about you.
Congrats on taking this big step! What are you doing to prepare?
