My surgery is June 3rd w/ Dr. Mendieta! Anyone else going around that time? I’m super excited as I’m reading through more reviews on here and seeing before and after photos...I’ve been more of a lurker and decided why not write my own review...don’t know if anyone is going to see these but It will be fun to look back on my own journey...

I’ve been lurking on here for a while and now I feel like documenting my journey for me and whoever else that is reading....I can’t believe I’m leaving in a week and I don’t even have my supplies or anything. I still don’t feel like it’s real that I’m going. And mommy life has got me so busy to even think about it. I gained about 46 pounds while pregnant.
I started at 164 to 210. I’m down to 200 pounds...still big but its just been a struggle for me to go back to the gym like I use to...I was in the gym almost everyday before the pregnancy and was happy about my body except my breast which I will still do one day. After I had the baby I tried to work out like I use to and kept injuring my knees from going too hard in the gym. On top of that fell twice on concrete which injured my knees even more! I’m so clumsy. I have to see an ortho after my surgery my primary doc told me....so this is why I’m still not at the weight I would like to be before my surgery...I’m stressed about not getting the results I want because I didn’t lose anymore weight but I’m also seeing before and afters with women around my weight and gives me hope because they have amazing results!

Recovery House

I’m arriving in Miami Saturday June 2nd at around 8:30 am since I don’t know what time my pre op is...I felt like just getting there early and going straight to M.I.A since my surgery will be the next day (Sunday June 3rd) ....Then I will be staying at Laly’s Doll House for 5 days. Laly personally gave me a call today and she sounded so sweet! I read a lot of great reviews about her so I don’t feel worried about staying there.
After Laly’s House I will go back to Aloft Doral Miami Hotel for a few days before my flight back to NY. It’s literally 2 mins from MIA aesthetics. I Wish I could stay in Miami longer after my surgery but I don’t want to spend more money and want to get back home to my baby girl.

Hi.. my surgery is coming up and i still cant decide on a recovery house im having surgery with Dr.Mendieta and laly doll house is one of the options.can you please give me a little more detail of ur stay in this recovery house

Omg I love Laly’s doll house! Laly and Claudia are so amazing!! Claudia cooks 3 home cooked meals a day and she will really take care of you like a mother would. They also wash your clothes and every time you go to the kitchen to eat you come back to fresh sheets on the bed and a clean room. I really didn’t even want to leave!

Hey.. can you give me advise on what supplies do i need to make my post op more confortable? I seen a few list and im not sure if all those supplies are needed i was told by my concierge to travel with a carryon only but seeing all the supplies needed im not sure if that’s possible? I need help.. im getting so nervous feeling unprepared

I took my carryon suitcase and a duffle bag...if you see my previous post i listed all the supplies I bought...I bought more supplies when I got to Miami which maybe easier for you to do as well. As I waited for my prescriptions I bought the diaper pads which you will need a pack of those and diapers . Also arnica gel and Pills and Tylenol maximum strength helped a lot. Don’t forget a urinal!
