27 and finally took that leap. 4days post op - Miami, FL

Had my surgery 4 days ago and I'm super happy.
The first 3 days were rough, not going to lie. It's not so much painful but VERY uncomfortable. I'm a side sleeper so sleeping on my tummy has been just awful for me.
So I guess I'll start from the beginning. I had my preop, meet DrB and Jackie. Fantastic. I was a little worried at first because as soon as Jackie saw me so called me Skinny Mini :(. I had tried so hard in the previous months to gain weight but it was virtually impossible. At that point it was too late to do anything about it so I just said well whatever they can do is better than what I have, but fortunately for me when DrB saw me he was like I got this. Don't you worry!
So surgery day comes and I'm super nervous and let me tell you ladies the anesthesia Was the WORST for me. It burned going up my arm and I could taste it in my mouth before I went to sleep. I hated it! It was he worst part for me. But DrB and his staff or excellent, professionals all the way through. The OR room and recovery were spotless, super clean, I felt completely safe and I just knew everything was going to be okay.
When I woke up for surgery it felt like I had been locked in a freezer for years, I was super cold. I was in and out of it. It I remember moaning and saying I was cold and felt like I was going to throw up but they were there for me.
I'm staying at Miracle Touch Recovery and omg, they are fantastic. Joselyn and her mom are sent from heaven. They actually truly care about you, you get fresh juice and water everyday. They have papaya and star fruit trees in the back yard, so fruit and juice is always on hand. They feed is on time and it's delicious. They are amazing people and I've felt like family the entire time I've been here.

Just finished picking up my meds.

I had my preop appointment with Dr B and let me tell you, I have never felt more comfortable. I was honestly started to become overwhelmed but after meeting him, Jackie, and Ester I know I made the right choice.

Dr B is very much no nonsense and his team is straightforward. They aren't going to just tell you what you want to hear, they will tell you their honesty opinion. I am on the smaller side and I honestly knew going in I probably didn't have enough fat for surgery. They told me I will have a nice shape but my bum want be huge, and I'm fine with that!

My surgery is at 6am and I'm ready for this new chapter!

I had a safe flight and I'm in beautiful Miami!

I have my postop appointment tomorrow, a little nervous but super excited!
