My sx date currently for June 10th and it cannot come any sooner. I have battled with body image issues since middle school and as a result anxiety, depression and lack of self confidence have reared it’s ugly face in. I have my sx w/ Dr. Mendieta and am nervous bc I have no idea how to prepare for this.. I have been reading everyone’s review but if even one person could let me know their personal journey from start to finish with advise that would be greatly appreciated.

Omg I’m coming for my pre op on the 9th!! And no I don’t I live in Indiana although I was born in Tampa. Have you received sx from him before or are you just confident he’ll do a good job? Are you staying at a recovery room? Have you purchased pre op/post op items? Sorry I just want to make sure I have all the stuff ready but also not overspend either

Ok so no I haven’t gotten anything from him before buttt I have actually seen people he has done BBL for . He knows what he is doing . I’m in Orlando I’m driving down May 29 for my pre op they will be measuring for the garment (they sell them there if you want it from them and I think the booty pillows to . I will double check ! ) but that’s where you let him know everything you want like the style and go into more depth with him . I’m letting him know I want a upside down heart ! Smalll waist big butt . I will be staying at a hotel for 2 days then going to Wpb with family

Oh I see, and yea I’ve seen a lot of people’s review that he does pretty amazing. Oh wow that’s a far drive from Orlando to Miami. I also purchased the garment, lipo foam and lymphatic massages. I didn’t know we had to get measured for it but it makes sense. I have been talking to a few ppl about supplies like arnica, stage two garments, calendula etc I just know that those garments are expensive and so are the booty/boppy(?) pillows. I think the lowest I saw was like around $80 and I’m a post broke ass college kid so I’m having to pay all of this out of my paycheck and I’m still in the process of paying it off. But then i decided to purchase the recovery room bc the cost of hotel plus food etc would be more than the recovery room and idk anyone there:( I don’t even know what kind of ass I want bc I’m really focused on the lipo to remove the fat and a snatched waist. I’d like a big ass but I’m afraid of not fitting in my jeans haha

I’m not sure what that is? And start what?? I want to purchase a stage two faja but idk my size so I’ll have to wait

Hi my surgery is this Sunday. Unfortunately I live out of state so I couldn’t get consultations with him. But I was really nervous to book my surgery date honestly... mine is on financial side of things just bc I’m paying everything out of pocket! When do you think you will schedule it?

It’s going well. I’m 5 months post op. The swelling is definitely gone, I almost wish it back just bc of how huge my ass was. I’m pretty much fully healed but I still can’t do any extreme physical activities. I tried to run upstairs to my apartment but it hurt as I could feel my butt move up and down. But light exercises are still good. Sleeping is still awkward for me but I have been able to sleep on my back starting from 3.5 months out. But I’m too paranoid to constantly sleep on my back.
