Measurement now (2 months later)
Lip drop
Once again (post third lip), my lip has dropped a LOT. 5mm to be exact. I measured 9mm just out of surgery and now am at 1.4cm. It seems like most people drop by 2mm or 3mm at most, so I guess my skin is just very elastic/prone to dropping since each time, this seems to happen. While my philtrum is still significantly shorter than it was to begin with, I am disappointed that my lip seems to drop so much each time.
5 weeks post 3rd lip lift
I have been asked for photos, so here they are! 5 weeks post op. As usual, once the stitches came out, I felt like my philtrum looked way longer than when it was smaller and with stitches. The stitches seem to hide some of the philtrum, but if measuring from my scar to my cupid's bow, the measurement is about the same as it was right after surgery. So I don't know if there was any "drop" per se, but philtrum definitely does look longer than it did right after surgery, which I had expected. Overall still very pleased with results. I think it could be a bit shorter (the way my nose is seems to make philtrum look longer), but still far better than it was before.
