My Experience About LASIK Surgery - Brazil

Hi. I had a LASIK surgery on November 17. I had -7.5 degrees right eye and -6.75 left eye nearsightedness. The surgery was good, I had any problem. However, after one day I still wasn´t seeing well. On second day after surgery, I wake up seeing well, but after 40 min my vision reduced 80%. I saw blurry from far and very well closely. This was repeated for next days. My doctor. My doctor examined me and said that was all right with the recovery, my cornea was healing perfectly. I was happy but I was very worried because I was still not seeing. My vision wasn´t good at the day but especially it wasn´t good at the night. The doctor prescribed eye drops to reduce the eye pressure and it helps the cornea to achieve a good bend to see well. This help me to see better at the day, but at the night my vision still bad. Ten days after surgery, I had a return to the doctor that, after new exams, found that I had stayed with -0.5 degrees in the left eye and -0.75 in the right eye. He told me that the laser didn´t reach to completely correct nearsightedness. I don´t know if this is common to happen or not. Or if it was a doctor or equipment error, anyway, I´ll have other surgery to correct the degrees that were. But now I´ll have a PRK surgery in few months. Meanwhile, I'm wearing glasses to be able to see at the night. As soon as I have more news I come to tell you.
