I forgot to show my final results!
WORTH IT$3,700
I had to go through two different orthodontists but I finally Got a good result. I’m sad the impact the braces had on my enamel. My teeth aren’t as white as they were and they are rubbed thin clear and grayish in some areas. Just be prepared for that. I wish I would have done Invisalign. But I’m glad my teeth are straight. I did bioclear for my front two teeth to fix the gap.

Getting my braces off in a few weeks!
My teeth are not perfect yet and my ortho wants me to keep going but I’m done. My issues that bothered me are fixed and I’m soooo tired of having braces. I’m ready to feel normal again. So here is what they look like now and I’ll post again as soon as they are off!

I feel your frustration. I'm a year and half in and am fed up with them totally. (I have the same braces as you) Now my bite is sorted I am going to get them off and get veneers. Be interesting to see your final result. :)

Aren't they the most awful things!??? I hate the way I look. Ad I can live like that for awhile but years of hating your smile sucks. I'm excited for you to get yours off too! I am completely over it.

I know I’m not an orthodontist, but your teeth look amazing to me. I’m almost at the 2 year mark and my teeth don’t look as good as yours, but I’m close to my limit too. My ortho thinks I’ll be done by September, and I’m praying that remains the case next time I visit.

I'm glad to hear your braces are finally coming off. I find it very challenging to keep all the brackets and tooth surfaces sparkling clean. I will not miss flossing my braces and I'm sure you won't either! I'm glad I have a "WaterPik" flosser, because this device has really helped me out.
I still have my braces on. I'm up in Toronto, Canada and my orthodontist hasn't reopened his office since the Covid-19 shut down. My braces were suppose to come off this month, June 2020.
I guess you are going to wear retainers to maintain the adjustments? I know there is an option of a permanent retainer or removable retainers. Please post your choice of retainer. I really look forward to seeing your upcoming photos Melodee2016.

New orthodontist
My previous orthodontist opened a new office in a new city and just went MIA. I’m trying to get a partial refund but in the mean time I found another orthodontist in Phoenix. It’s sad because they gave me another 8 months with these things on. Heartbreaking. But it seems like he has a good plan to get my bite aligned and my teeth straight and pretty. Today they put on a new bottom wire with steel to wrap it and they smoothed out the chips in my teeth. Come on man, I am ready to be done.

Sad story with your first ortho... I think your teeth look quite ok now, so what's your new ortho is saying about your teeth? when you gonna take braces out?

I have to leave them in for about another year. It's so sad but what an ya do? They are definitely improving on the bottom. They've had to readjust he brackets twice because those teeth are determined and now they are finally making better progress. The top look good and I'm tempted to see if I can just have the top removed. I really hate having braces. I can not wait to be done!
