I called Dr. Benjamin's office today and to my surprise, his wife was busy so he answered the phone! I told him that I wanted information about Smart Lipo and he gave me a cell phone number and asked me to send pics. He could have easily required that I set up an appointment, but he didn't. A few moments later, he called back and gave me several options. He was very personable and thorough during our conversation. Even over the phone, I immediately felt comfortable with him. I can't wait to get all the money I need so I can have him perform the surgery for me! I had been doing a lot of research on plastic surgery and the doctor makes all the difference in the world. I'm convinced that Dr. Benjamin will do an excellent job!

Your right about ...soon as you get the money you can go forward .. The dr sounds great .. If he's got feeling to make you feel safe with him as your dr . It makes it so much easier

Thank you for your comment! I was able to get a small loan from the credit union that I added to the money I received from my income tax return. I can't imagine a better doctor. He and his wife (a nurse) are a perfect team. I'm scheduled for Tuesday the 10th and I can't wait to get this over with. I need my beach body by June!

With your surgery did you have a lot of pain and did the swelling go down or does it take while to go down

Hi Chrise. I did experience pain and discomfort, but that only lasted a few weeks. The pain was off and on, and seemed to be worse when I moved a certain way. I've found that everyone's bodies respond differently to this surgery. One person may not have a lot of swelling, while others do. In my case, the swelling has been bad at times, especially at night. Some of it might be my fault because I still have some salt and sugar in my diet, I wasn't able to work out, and I wasn't drinking nearly as much water as I should have. I take full responsibility for my actions, and I'm much more disciplined now.

My surgery was postponed, but I'm still excited!

Today was supposed to be the day but we had a setback because of the weather and some other issues. We rescheduled the surgery for Tuesday, March 10. I'm so looking to get this over with!

Farewell to my skinny fat body!

Here are some pics of my belly, flanks, love handles, and back fat. My goodness: I need Smart Lipo on my whole torso!!! Well, I promised myself that I would get rid of all that fat before I'm 50 which means I have 1 year left. I've tried diet and exercise including every workout plan known to man. Don't get me wrong: I can get a little skinnier every time, but skinny fat is not something I want to be!
