Dr. Burton was a big disappointment. It wasn't...

Dr. Burton was a big disappointment. It wasn't until after I spoke to a female plastic surgeon years later that I realized most plastic surgeons don't sculpture you during liposuction. They just suck out the fat haphazardly. And she's right. My body is distastefully lumpy and uneven as a result of Dr. Burton's work. I wish I had gone to the female doctor. I think Dr. Burton has a strategy of making the first liposuction so unbalanced, that you will absolutely have to come back and pay more money for a revision. When I went back to schedule a revision, he told me the price went up from approximately $2000 to $4000-$4500. I didn't have it so I didn't schedule it. Three years later, I called the office and the front desk told me it would be under $2000. I asked why I got such a high quote from Dr. Burton two years prior, and they said they had no idea. RED FLAG!
Dr. Burton lipo'd my lower stomach and left me with a muffin top. It would have been just as easy for him to remove most of the fat from the lower stomach. Isn't that what most women want? After being in practice for such a long time, a plastic surgeon doesn't realize the top should be flatter than the bottom? If you have a flat stomach, but with a muffin top, what's the point? That makes you look worse than not having anything done at all. I think the point is so he can be guaranteed that you come back for a revision (more money)! Nobody noticed anything different about me after my liposuction. When I went in his office, he had the most ghetto staff I'd ever experienced. They talked about and made fun of other clients and did the same to me when I disrobed. It was a humiliating experience. Since then, that group has been replaced, but I don't know if it's any better. Dr. Burton's bedside manner is not overly-caring. It seems forced and rushed. If any doctor who has been in practice for decades removes the fat from the bottom stomach and leaves the top virtually untouched, he knows exactly what he's doing. He knows you'll be back to get a revision. I'd even asked to see his before-and-after pictures of his clients and kept getting the excuse that the albums were at his Baltimore office. FOR MONTHS? He kept saying he would get someone to send them to his Bowie office, but that never happened. Another Red Flag!
All plastic surgeons are not created equal. I wish I'd known that before I went to him. He was a little less expensive than other doctors, so I guess that old adage is true. You get what you pay for! I even bet that if he reads all the negative reviews about him online, he would not care one bit as along as he has a flow of new clients steadily coming in his office. Really sad when you can't trust your doctor. This out-of-pocket procedure isn't cheap!

I think Dr. Burton is strictly in this line of work for the money. He doesn't seem genuine at all when it comes to his patients. Even when he answers your questions, they're quick and short as if he just wants you to get out of his office so he can get to the next patient. I guess as long as he gets paid, that's all that matters.
