2 weeks post op

I'm 2 weeks post op and am really happy with the results. The swelling is mostly gone and I feel like my normal smile has returned! pheww! For reason my bruising looks worst than it has been in these whole two weeks! How does that work? Anybody have any good remedies?

Cast removal

7 days post op I got my cast and splint removed. Its so nice to be able to breath again! My profile looks awesome, but the tip is swollen so i kind of look like squidward from the front. I have a good feeling that I'm going to be extremely happy with results as soon as swelling goes down.

I had a hump on my nose that had bothered me since 6th grade. 13 years later I finally got a nose job! The decision to do it was scary, so having support from my family and being confident in my plastic surgeon was essential to ease my anxiety.
In a addition to the rhinoplasty I had a chin implant put in place to balance my profile. The doctor also fixed my deviated septum.
Waking up from surgery was awful. My surgery wasn't until 5 pm, so I had to fast all day. The combination of feeling starved and the anesthesia made me nauseous, so I threw up quite a bit. After the nausea passed recovery hasn't been bad at all.
A list of things I would recommend for recovery would be bread, bread and more bread ( you need something to take with all the meds), ice chips, humidifier, frosty and chili from Wendy's.
This afternoon was awesome I laid in bed with my humidifier and took the best nap of my life. I felt like I was at a spa and felt bad for all moms who didn't have an excuse to lay down and relax like did, but little did I know that it was probably the Percocet making me feel like I was on cloud nine. I switched my pain meds this evening to Tylenol because my pain is manageable and I don't want to become addicted to the Percocet, which is why I am up at 1 am writing this review because I'm not riding the Percocet train anymore. ???? Just kidding I'm fine the dry mouth and nasal packing is the worst though.
