Botox is Not Wearing off After 6 Months - Caused Under Eye Bags and Wrinkles
I got botox 6 months ago and it's not wearing off. I received it in my forehead and crows feet. It immediately created bags and lines under my eyes that weren't there before, and gave me the "chipmunk" cheek look. I feel that it has ruined my smile and makes me look old and tired. I'm really worried that it is going to be permanent as it's now at the 6-month mark. I wish I had never gotten this treatment. Does botox last longer than 6 months? Everything I read says it should've worn off by now, but I'm also reading horror stories of people who've had the effects last for more than a year and have permanent damage. I'm really scared.
Don't go to Beach Cities Vein and Laser Center in El Segundo, CA. I had it administered by their nurse who claimed she had worked on hundreds of patients and didn't have any problems. I initially went there for concerns about getting sclerotherapy treatment and the doctor thought I also might want botox and recommended it. He got annoyed at me for asking a lot of questions about their sclerotherapy procedures. I should've known better than to go to their facility after his reaction to my questions. I had the nurse administer it because it was a lower price. I guess you get what you pay for. Feeling hopeless.

Going to get a microcurrent facial this weekend to see if it helps.
