Poor Experience
I have been getting Botox for 10+ years and have gone to several providers in different states. My first experience at Pure Dermatology in August 2020 was horrible, and I would urge everyone to steer clear of this office. I am 35 years old and normally treated with around 35-40 units of Botox, which I indicated on my check-in form and communicated it to the girl who was assisting the nurse. When the nurse injector came into the room, she proceeded to treat me with EIGHTY units of Botox without consulting me about using such an excessive amount. I did not know how many units were used until I got to the front desk to check out, and I was in complete shock when they told me what was owed.In addition, I had severe headaches for about ten days after my procedure - a symptom I have never had before so I can only assume it is because I was basically poisoned with too much product. Pure Dermatology seems to care more about charging as much as possible for procedures, vs. treating with appropriate amounts of product. Beware!
