Overpriced and Overbooked

I came in for a consult, which cost $200. I was totally fine with being charged, as I wanted to opinions from several providers and Dr. Naz got great reviews. She was very kind and seemed very knowledgeable, but I would definitely not book anything with this practice for two reasons. First, I wasn’t seen until almost an hour after my appointment time. I get that delays happen, but I it is totally disrespectful of paying clients’ time to overbook like that and waste my time (they clearly had too many patients). To me, that says they’re greedy for money and are squeezing in as many people as they can. No one even apologized for the long wait, let alone reducing the big fee for the 5 minutes I actually spent with Dr Naz. Second, they overcharge. One of the quotes I received was for a lip flip, which research tells me requires 2-10 units of toxin. They charge by the area, and I was quoted $444 for the lip flip. Even if 10 units were used, that’s over $40 per unit when the average cost in the area is $12-15 per unit. That’s insane, no matter how many good reviews they get. They also forgot to send me one of the quotes they promised me. There are plenty of less overbooked, more reasonably priced practices around here that get great reviews - I’ll go there.
