Consultation review: mean girl behavior - pay to be chastised

ORIGINAL POST

Mean Girl Behavior - Consult? Forget About It. Pay to Be Chastised.

I feel disheartened to leave a negative review, but the hospitality & level of care I had with Nicole was demeaning & unprofessional. I went in there wanting to do a botox lip flip and brow lift, and wanted insight on how best to balance my face. I paid for the consultation, without any grievance prior to. She consistently made passive aggressive comments saying, certain things on my face were, "not that bad" or I was "being hard on myself." Now, I have thick skin, so reckless comments like these don't bother, but imagine someone with body dysmorphia or insecurities coming in & being told these comments? It could be triggering or disheartening. While it is not her responsibility to be attentive to someone's mental health, it is her responsibility to maintain a level of ethics and professionalism when communicating with a client. It took me going to another medspa to realize the callous treatment I received was not the norm. I didn't receive a proper consultation that gave suggestions or encouragement from an aesthetic standpoint more than judgement from a "mean girl." 10/10 do not recommend.

I’m so sorry you felt that way. My intention is always to be honest and to never perform procedures that I believe people don’t require. I believe in a very natural result and always find and enhance everyone’s natural beauty. I like to maintain features that are unique for each individual person. My goal as a provider is to make my clients happy so I’m sorry I didn’t do that for you, but I find it unethical to perform a procedure that I don’t feel is necessary. My apologies again.
