ended up seeking medical attention for severe swelling, burning sensation and hives

I have been getting Botox injections over 12 yrs consistently. I started with 20 units in my glabella and forehead with beautiful results and after several yrs started getting 30 units total. I have had the same injector a large majority of the time and have always been very satisfied with the results. Unfortunately my injector retired so I was seeking someone new. I made the absolutely worst mistake by going to Lov Med spa in Farmington CT. Injector is 26 yrs old and openly admitted to just recently starting to administer injections. I could certainly tell by her placement of the injections and even mentioned it was entirely different from what I'm used too. She was putting a huge majority of the injections on my right side. I received a total of 40 units and was expecting phenomenal results. I knew I had a serious problem 5 days out from the treatment. I was extremely sore and tender and had a pea sized lump developing near my inner right eyebrow. I immediately called the spa and explained not only did I have full movement of my forehead I also was sore and tender. They urged me to wait the full 2 weeks before reaching out to them again but as the days kept going by nothing was changing. Still very very sore and tender and started noticing I still had full range of motion in my glabella.i continued to call a few times a week expressing concerns especially about the pea size lump near my inner eyebrow. They continually informed me to wait it out and on day 38 I finally ended up seeking medical attention because I had an awful reaction. Major swelling and welts on my right cheek and eye and burning sensation. I woke up to my right eye swollen soo much it was barely open. I immediately went to urgent care and was prescribed Prednisone and hydrocortisone topical ointment. I have never ever once had an issue with any botox that I've received.
