Botox Bruising Around Eye

I have always had botox inbetween my eyebrows and forehead, i decided to go for around the eyes and had lots of smile lines getting deeper. what i did not expect was to be bruised and have a black eye!!!

That happened to me last time as well. It took what seemed like forever to go away. The injector asked me if I had any caffeine the day of my appointment, which I did. Apparently caffeine can make bleeding a bruising worse. I'll never drink coffee before my appointment again!
It’s mad isn’t it
Surely they should give us a checklist before going to these appointments
Don’t drink this
Don’t do this after
Etc...
I also find it very concerning that you have to ask what botox they use before hand
More transparency is needed and more accreditation is needed in this industry
I have had bad experiences now with
Laser and also filler
Maybe I should just grow old naturally or not trust people so much?!
Crazy world we live in
Rant over lol xx
I’ve received Botox and Filler for 10 years, same Dr. I always bruise on certain areas. Every single time. I have very very fair skin. Anytime you have an injection there is a risk of bruising. It is not a reflection on the product or skill of the Dr. However, an inexperienced Tech can cause “more” bruising. Know where you go.
Thankfully the second time I had it done there was no bruising
This is a review to help people understand it can happen and to be aware as I was never warned
It can happen. The needle broke a capillary vein
