Botox nightmare - no volume in my lower face anymore

UPDATED FROM Enthusiastic5989

Still problems after 2 years

A short update after almost 2 years: My masseter muscles are functioning normally again. A loss of volume is still visible. The face is still sagging much more than before the Botox.

The left side of my forehead is still weak and the eye is drooping more.

I have developed an asymmetry and as a result a CMD and now have to wear dental splints to compensate for the muscular imbalance.

Hyaluron, which I had injected 6 years ago, is still there in parts and has partially migrated.

Never again Botox and Filler!

Botox and Filler destroyed my face

I hate to see me in the mirror and it makes me cry to post these pictures. But I need to warn everybody!

I had Botox in my forehead, frown lines, crow's feet, lower eyelids, chin and masseter in 2022.
Also Juvederm filler in the cheeks, on zygomatic arch, nasolabial folds, mentolabial folds and jawline.

It's now been 1 year and 9 months and my entire face is still saggy. Especially the left side. Eyebrows droop, one eyelid droops, I have jowls and sagging skin on the lower face. The corners of my mouth are drooping, my dark circles are much more pronounced. And I have some filler migration around the mouth area and left jawline.
I have NOT lost any weight.

Doctors say that after 3-6 months of botox the face looks like it did before. It doesn't for me. It has made me depressed.
I saw an experienced plastic surgeon. My trust in him is gone. And I'm afraid to go to anyone else.
I will never have filler or Botox injections again. I also won't have lasers or anything similar done to my skin because of bad experiences.

Think carefully about what you are doing to yourself with these treatments.

Hello, it's Isa from Italy. i had botox for the masseter too, and I also hated it.
Truth is, those areas shouldn't be treated unless there is a real necessity as the effects can last longer than in other areas and the result is often poor.
But don't worry, it will return as it was.

Plus... You are beautiful, and i think there are options for you to improve a lot.
What I did is:
- I REMOVED the filler from the cheeks (that enhances the loss of volume on the jaw line) and creates this uncanny effect that you also slightly have... Then I had a light face contouring to restore the lost volume on the jaw/chin.
I also chewed a lot of chewing gums, it is the best exercise for your muscle.

I suggest to not do fillers as your face is slim and delicate and the puffiness/ dramatic angles are not good for you.. I think you, as me, need other options: PEP or better, seffiller (fat used for rejuvenate).

I still do botox but with a full face approach, that gives a more balanced effect, but NOT in the masseter.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your comment.
How did you remove the filler? I'm totally afraid of Hylase cause I read a lot of horror stories about it.
And how did you the face Contouring?

I'll never use filler again. It deformed my face over the years.
Thought about fat, too. But cause I have post Covid and my blood isn't the best anymore, I'm afraid that it doesn't work.

My muscles work normal again. It's almost 2 years now and there is still a volume loss and an asymmetry (I have developed CMD as a result and now have to wear dental splints).
p.s. remember that the hand of the doctor, with botox is essential. Look for a doctor specialized with the treatment, and you will see that next time result will be much different!
I saw a well-known doctor who even treats celebrities here. Even that doesn't protect you.

Forgot to mention

I forgot to mention, that I got a spasm in my chin after the correction, every time I touched my skin little "harder" (remove make up or a pimple, scratch).
Asked my doctor, but he had no explanation for that!
