I had surgery with this lady doctor on January 17th. Vaginoplasty which consisted of labiaplasty, vaginal walls tightening and fat transfer to Labia Majora. Where do I start?
Well day of surgery all was ok I guess, I was told I would be awake but number via epidural block but I was put to sleep completely. Woke up and took a look my vagina was swollen as expected but the left labia was double the size of the right one. I asked the doctor’s assistant Carolina why did they look so different right out of surgery to which she replied oh maybe the right side absorbed faster. (In a few hours fat was absorbed??) next day I went to the office for a post op follow up and expressed my concern with the difference in sizes and was given the same answer. Eventually went home looking horrible and in pain. At this point reaches out to the doctor several times and she told me to get on antibiotics which I did my PCP gave me some strong antibiotics in the hopes to fight off whatever I had that had the surgical area warm and red and huge!
Every day I kept getting worse and worse I finally went to see a Gyno cosmetic plastic surgeon who examined me and told me he suspected I had some sort of substance injected in my labia also my vaginal walls were closed so much he couldn’t examine me inside not even insert a finger.
I had to get a sonogram of the vulvar area and yes it was some sort of gel thing floating there and growing at this point my left labia was 4 times the side of the right one. I had surgery February Saturday 2nd to remove it all. Doctor confirmed it was some sort of gel also with my own fat all becoming necrotic. I was put on 2 different meds today antibiotics not to mentioned the crazy pain I’m feeling.
I’m very disappointed at myself how irresponsible of me to go to DR to get surgery based on some online reviews that could all be fake too. I don’t know what qualify of sex life I’ll have after I heal. I’m gonna have to wait 2 months to see if I can start dilator therapy :(
Please learn from my own horrible experience and don’t do this to yourself or go to this woman!!
I’m so cared now not knowing what they put in my body and all I can do is wait to heal and see how I’ll look after. I’m scared that this will follow me or give me health issues for the rest of my life m.
