How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Botched Vaginoplasty & Traumatizing Experience
I had a vaginoplasty with Dr. Miriam Luciano in 2023, and it was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. What was supposed to be a restorative, confidence-boosting procedure turned into a traumatic and disfiguring experience. I was left with no vaginal lips at all, gross asymmetry (one side is significantly larger than the other), and necrosis that was later confirmed via scan.
From the start, communication was misleading. The team was very warm and accommodating—until I paid my deposit. Once money exchanged hands, things quickly turned cold, rushed, and dismissive. Not only did the price change in person (despite previous confirmations), but with all the added fees, I ended up paying over $7,000—far more than I was initially quoted.
I followed all post-op instructions, including the recommended massages, and gave it time to heal. But it became clear that something was seriously wrong. Instead of acknowledging my concerns or taking any responsibility, I was continuously told to “just keep doing massages,” which did absolutely nothing. When the necrosis was confirmed by a scan, they still offered no real help or corrective action.
Now, I am left physically and emotionally scarred, desperately searching for a U.S. surgeon who is even willing to attempt a revision. This has not only cost me financially, but mentally and emotionally as well.
I do not recommend Dr. Miriam Luciano. A surgeon’s skill, ethics, and follow-through matter immensely in intimate procedures like these, and I feel this clinic failed me on every level—medically and morally. I am still shocked at the amazing reviews and makes me question if half of them are real or not.
