Botched Facelift and Made Me Bald
I received a facelift from Dr Nassif. He was very confident of an excellent result and boasted how he could make all the scars hidden. But he incisions he made caused my sideburns to be pulled up and the redundant hair bearing skin behind it excised and tossed. No scar but he left me BALD there and never warned me of this effect. I had to get hair grafts that cost $8,000. I now have much smaller and less dense sideburn hair. I also now have a large loss of hair in the back of my head where it was harvested. See photo. A few years later I found out that competent surgeons cut outside of, and never inside of the sideburn so that the hairline is preserved.
As if that wasn't enough he left me with BOTH deformed ears and pixie earlobes. See photos. There is an obvious ledge of unnatural looking skin between my ears and face. And the earlobe that is in a pointed triangle shape is beyond sloppy work. He never told me either of these could be revised. When I last saw him 3 years post op he still didn't mention either of these botches he did to my face. Instead he offered a revision jawline lift at the then full cost of $8,130.80 which was higher than the cost of the original facelift. He explained his fees had increased. I declined this and went to another surgeon to get the ridiculous pointed triangle earlobes fixed. That cost $2,000. I still had to continue living with the ear deformity trying to hide it with what little hair I have left to cover my ears. I have a very thin head of hair because of him. He made me BALD.
That's when I obtained my medical records from Dr. Nassif. To my surprise he had written about me having both right and left pixie ear deformity on the same date he had also proposed the full cost jawline revision. He knew about these botches the whole time and never ever told me! He just hustled me for another costly and unrelated procedure.
Even up until very recently Dr Nassif has failed to answer any of my questions as to why he proposed a full cost jawline revision when he knew I had ear deformities as a result of the facelift he performed. Only now has he offered to revise the pixie deformity. But he told me if he tried to revise it the deformity may recur because pixie happens during the healing process or because of scar tissue. This is at odds with his own website where he discusses pixie ear as a misjudgment of the original surgeon. It is also at odds with other plastic surgeons who are quite confident they can permanently revise the deformities. Instead of letting Nassif have the opportunity to bungle my face again I have now since spent ANOTHER $9,000 to finally fix this deformity that has left me with a freakish unnatural appearance for several years. The surgeon who did the revision said my facelift had been done by someone very inexperienced. A facelift should NEVER result in hair grafts OR any ear deformities! His mistakes have been devastating and have cost a fortune to fix.

A Competent surgeon fixed Paul Nassif's botched facelift
Nassif's bungled facelift has been greatly improved to the extent possible by another surgeon. Notice how my ear lobe no longer is the shape of a pointed triangle and is no longer sewn up behind my face. My ears are no longer deformed. I can finally stop having to hide my ears with what little hair Nassif left me after he cut off my hair bearing scalp.

I'm so sorry you had to go through all that :( Your ears look so nice now though but too bad you had to pay so much more for something that should've been done right the first time. I used to watch Botched all the time but haven't lately and now I won't. Thank you for sharing.

Hello! I also have pixie ear as a result of a facelift. My surgeon refused to correct it and gave me the money I paid him back. Do you mind sharing the name of the surgeon who corrected your earlobes?
