I had always been self conscious of my nose. It was slightly crooked from a deviated septum and had a small bump on the bridge. So when I saw a recent picture of myself at a party, where my nose looked like it was almost broken, I made the call. Although Dr. Del Vecchio assured me that it was an optical illusion and that my nose really wasn't THAT crooked, it was the catalyst for me to take the plunge. And I am so glad that I did. Although, I was expecting some swelling post surgery, I was surprised by it as well. But three months post-op, I love my new nose and wish I had done it ten years ago!
