Before and a month after surgery

I have been researching and dreaming of this surgery for years! Living with gynecomastia is a traumatizing experience and I was very eagar to get rid of it as soon as possible. The biggest issue for me was money. I was desperate and started looking for cheap surgeries. I started looking overseas at sketchy surgeons. Once my parents noticed my desperation they decided that they would give me a loan. With the proper funds I was able to choose a reputable surgeon, Dr Doherty. I choose him because he was very understanding and explained every detail about my gynecomastia and the prospective surgery, even though I was pretty much an expert on the topic. Going into the surgery my expectations for the results were reasonable. I just wanted to be able to wear a T-shirt without having unsightly protrusions from my chest. I wasn't expecting to have a beach body. Before the surgery, Dr. Doherty walked me through all the pre-op instructions, a detailed step-by-step of the surgery itself, and a comprehensive summary of post-surgery. One thing that I really liked about Dr Doherty was that he actually sat down with my Mom and reassured her that he was going to take great care of me and was available to address any concerns she's might have. It showed that he really does care about not only his patients but their families as well. Dr. Doherty really shined during the post-phase. He called me almost every day post-op for a week to get updates and address any questions I might have. I had his cell phone number and could call him at anytime I needed. I felt pretty special and it definitely gave me peace of mind. Perhaps the most important part of cosmetic surgery is the results...so let's get to those! I am unbelievably ecstatic with the results. I got more than I had expected. Dr Doherty didn't just remove the trouble some tissue, he literally sculpted me a new chest that better reflected my gender. I now have a much more masculine chest and with some work in the gym, I know I can have a beach body. I am so happy with the results. I am about a month post-op right now. Most of the swelling is gone and all the incisions are closed up and hardly noticeable. I'm sure in another month or two the scars will virtually be gone. All-in-all Dr. Doherty is excellent and I highly recommend him.
