11 Weeks - Photos

11 Weeks

11 Weeks and I'm still very pleased with my results. I still have some minor imperfections. I can't feel underneath the nipples on either breast. I have rippling in my cleavage, but it's still only visible when I'm naked. I haven't developed folds/creases the way I think I should have, and I'm not sure what can be done about it at this point.

I'm fairly certain that I have no more dropping and fluffing to do. My incisions have moved to just above my crease and hopefully that's where they stay. I really hope my nipples don't get any higher and that I don't bottom out, but if I did I would most certainly go through surgery again to have it corrected. The incisions are still red which must have something to do with how my body scars.

I think I see some faint stretch marks which is what bothers me the most.

During the first two months post-op, I was wearing a 32C bra and kept wondering why my nipples were so close to popping out. It turns out I should have been wearing a 32D. The bigger size fits in my crease much more comfortably and my nipples aren't on the edge of the bra.

Even though I just listed a lot of things that were negative results of my breast augmentation, I still think my overall results are good and I don't regret it.

7 weeks

Just a reminder: I had surgery on June 6; I got 320cc's smooth round moderate profile Sientra implants placed under the muscle via the infra-mammary crease. I am 4'11" and 104lbs... I've been cleared to go back to the gym but clearly haven't.. Both of my natural breast creases were lowered. In the photos, my old, natural, crease was where the freckle is on my left breast, just for a point of reference.

I had my follow up with Dr. Darrow on Friday. He acknowledged that the top of my left breast is slightly higher than my right, but that is probably because I am a righty and it should level out and drop over time. He also acknowledged that my left breast has not really made a new crease/fold, and my right one has done a better job of making a new, lower fold. So that's another reason for the slight difference in appearances between breasts. He didn't really tell me how I can force the left one to make a new crease or if I'd have to surgically correct it. I have another appointment in January, so everything will definitely be settled into place by then and I assume I can assess it then.

I still don't have feeling underneath either nipple, but he said I should be experiencing some weird sensations which will mean the nerve endings are reconnecting. I haven't experienced any of those feelings, so I don't know if I'll have permanent loss. I can, however, feel my nipples, and the tops of my breasts. It's just the bottoms and it's not really bothersome to me.

I asked him about the rippling I'm experiencing in my cleavage area and he said that's because I don't have much natural breast tissue there. The rippling is only noticeable when I'm completely naked. It goes away with the slightest bit of pressure, so it's not visible in bras or bikinis. The rippling really doesn't bother me, and my boyfriend can't notice it no matter how hard I tried to get him to see it lol. The only solutions to rippling are smaller implants, or fat grafting and neither of those sound appealing to me.

I've gotten a few questions about whether it was worth it, so I just want to break it down for you ladies... at this point - 7 weeks in - I think my surgery was worth it. You definitely have to go into this having realistic expectations and you definitely have to do your research! Your final result is a mixture of your attitude and your doctor's abilities. I would say that my results are pretty much my small boobies, just magnified. Two of the doctors I saw did that 3D imaging thing, and sure it gives you an idea of what you'll look like, but neither of my 3D images looked anything like my actual results. I would not entirely base my decision off of those. Some things may be unavoidable outcomes, such as SLIGHT asymmetry (no two natural boobs are the same anyways), loss of feeling (as long as it's not the nipple I'm ok with it), and rippling (again, in my case, you can only tell when you're naked). So if you're able to see past those things then I say go for it, just make sure your expectations are in check.

On another note, I'm definitely happy that I chose the same size implant in both breasts even though my left one was the slightest bit smaller. I think if I had gotten two different sizes, I would be less pleased with my results. The difference in volume was not enough to warrant two different sizes so I'm happy I went with my gut and that the doctor left it up to me.

I've also been thinking, that I maybe should have gotten a moderate plus or high profile implant, just so the upper pole is more full and cleavage shows more in a tank top. I don't really care for the outward projection, I just have a desire to show off the cleavage. I'm being indecisive and can still achieve that look with push up and yet they will still look conservative and sexy without a bra! lol maybe next time

Enjoy my 7 week pics xx
