2 Months + Post Op Delvecchio BBL with Lipo - Boston, MA

ORIGINAL POST

Wanted thinner waist and back, flatter stomach,...

ClassyC
$8,500
Wanted thinner waist and back, flatter stomach, with rounded lifted butt. age 43, 1 child. was not very overweight but had put on about 20 pounds mainly in bust and middle. Dr. DelVecchio did aggressive lipo on my torso and gave me quite a large butt and hips. the torso is stunning, the butt very firm, but he was difficult and I still have quite a lot of pain.

Where you there to make friends? Or to get huge butt? I would care less if he gave you what you paid for i dont see why to complaint for his manners ! Its not fair to give him one star just cause he wasnt friendly ,your lucky he did amazing job !! My dr was friendly he only gave me 500ccs !!

Nope, I was there to get a good BBL, which so far, I think I did, though I'm still waiting for final results. I gave him 4 stars overall, but 1 star for bedside manner. It's important to have a Dr you can trust when you embark upon a big surgery like this. I know many people who decided against him after an initial consultation because of his rudeness. I went ahead anyway because his work is so good. But if bedside manner, and a caring Dr are important to someone, then he is not the Dr for them, in my opinion.

Thanks for your honest opinion and also sharing your exact opinion. I agree with you: although it's not a meet and greet, that doesn't give anyone to be a jackass to me, especially with all the money and pain you go through. Some ppl may not care and if they don't care, they can disregard that portion, but that questions wouldn't be on the review if it didn't matter.

I think it looks great!!!! That's more or less what I'm looking for smaller waist and some hips and BIGGER BUTT!!!! Lol do you have before pics?
January 9, 2015
I'm sorry I don't have any before pics because my decision to do this was spur of the moment and every picture of me before accentuated my best features and hid my fat. However, I will tell you that from looking at your profile, we are somewhat similar. I am 5'7" and by the time I had the surgery I was up to about 170 lbs. I could hide my fat by wearing spanx, but in a bathing suit, my waist was not tapered, and in jeans I always had tummy fat and back fat I had to hide. He basically just chiseled away everything around my waist, lower and upper back and all of my abdomen. and injected it in to my hips and butt. I will be honest and say this is not an easy recovery, and I appreciate the compliments because they make it easier to feel like all this pain will be worth it.

Thanks love... Again it does look great and I am willing to go through that pain for my results to come out like that... Did you by any chance get inner thighs done or arms? Because I want that done also....
January 9, 2015
I had just a little on my arms so that they wouldn't look really big compared to my torso. He didn't want to take out too much because I, like you, am in early 40's and he wasn't sure how well my skin would bounce back on my arms. I am more on the top heavy side, so I didn't need any thigh lipo. My thighs are much bigger now because of the surgery actually. inner thigh lipo sounds like it would look good, but so much extra pain, ugh.

what have you been doing as far as staying off your butt? How long did you stay off your butt and when did youy resume sitting and how did you sit? I have to work now and he's saying I should stay off my butt as much as possible, it's been 3 1/2 wks post for me... So any advise for the next few weeks as far as sitting goes would be sooooo appreciated.
January 10, 2015
I am at 11 weeks and sitting is still not great. at about 9-10 weeks I became able to sit on a pillow. couldn't sit at all for first month so stayed standing or lying on side, stomach, or in an inner tube. After a month, when I had to sit, I used a nerf football (between my legs), in the center of a boppy, and worked my core. The inner tube was amazing for being able to lie on my back at home.

Oh wow that is VERY helpful. I've been using one of those neck rest things and pretty much trying to sit on my legs. It's been soooo difficult. I dont know how silly I will look with the ball at work but that neck pillow for now has been good. The inner tube however sounds like the best idea EVER. Thanks!

Am about to do my consultantation with him...is he worth the money? Where did u get lipo?
January 19, 2015
he did my lipo as part of the bbl. i'd say he's worth it, however, I am still recovering and waiting for final results. he's not very nice or good to talk to, but he seems to know what hes doing.

@classy c- dr D did a very nice job with you.im about to go to him for round 2 (1st rd with someone else),so your page is very informative. Gotta love all the women that complain about having a huge butt when they didnt ask for it-thats a damn good problem to have! So many of us ask and dont receive!

Hey! Just wondering how you are feeling about your results further along? Can you post an update if you have a chance? Thank you!!

DelVecchio Butt lift 5 months out

ClassyC
my butt is gigantic, and i know this is what a lot of people want, but I didnt want it this big. ive gained 20 lbs since the surgery probably because ive been in too much pain to excercise until last week. so i feel huge!!! I called and emailed the office more than a dozen times over last 2-3 months to ask why i was still so swollen and lumpy and in so much pain, and never ever got a response from the Dr or staff. not impressed. maybe my body will look great once i can figure out how to lose the 20lbs plus the 20 i put on before the surgery, but he gave me big thighs and hips which i also didnt want. my bust is naturally huge so all in all i just feel very very large right now. and super annoyed with unprofessional office and disinterested Dr.

I'm sorry to hear you've been in so much pain. I'm 3 months out and have been exercising since about 2 months. I also am still experiencing lumpiness but not anything painful. I'm disappointed that they haven't called you back, but I managed to email the office the other day and got a response, so maybe you can try that?

Yes.. I can say,I would be livid! I heard this same issue with doctors in DR. Why they do this... I'm clueless. I've actually had Lipo and tt and breast implants years ago, and can say, it wasn't a bad experience at all. Don't recall any lumping or pain months after.

Thighs? You had fat added to your thighs? Why? As for the weight gain.... Come on, how do you blaim him for that. I say start juicing. Do a detox are something. I gained 40 pounds for this surgery, but for sure will lose every bit of it. As for lumpy, have you had any massaging?
April 21, 2015
I don't think you look gigantic at all. Have you managed to lose any of the weight you gained?
