Hello RealSelf Fam & Dolls
I am a 40 year old female looking to begin a new "health chapter" in my life. I have always fluctuated in weight, yet I have no children and struggle off and on with unhealthy eating habits. I have been a member of RS since December 2016 and not a day goes by that I don't feel compelled to log on and read someone's journey which in turn inspires and excites me. My procedure is 2 months away and I am so excited to see my body transformed so that I can regain the confidence that I have lost over the years. I have chosen Dr Daniel Del Vecchio as my surgeon and I am confident that he will deliver the results that I want. I have had a phone/virtual consultation with him and he seems very pleasant thus far. I will be uploading preop pics closer to my preop appointment date because I don't have it in me at this time to post pics that I deem disgusting to look at. I am 5'11 and currently weighing (more than I have ever weighed in my life), 220. It was very hard to just type those numbers, ugh.
I will keep you all posted on the activities of my journey and will hopefully make some positive RS connections along the way.
