I first had only wanted liposuction to make my waist smaller and the inner thighs so they didn't touch and irritate me when I was walking, after looking more into it I saw that the BBL surgery would enhance the smaller waist and my whe body in general. I started looking into many surgeons and came across Dr. Del Vecchio. He does high volume fat transfer and isn't afraid to take every ounce of fat he can get to achieve the result. His before and after a were phenomenal and he is an expert in the surgery. I had a consultation with him, was told to gain weight (which I did), and despite being a "small case" as he does transfers much bigger than mine (925cc), the results are phenomenal. He performed liposuction to my flanks, abdomen, and inner thighs. My entire body is re shaped! He was very informative with any questions I had, and I can certainly ask a lot, he made me feel very comfortable the day of surgery, my post op appointment was very relieving as he continued to guide me through the healing process, and to top it off his staff are great! I am so glad I chose this doctor for this procedure, he is a visionary!

"Before" picture
This was my before picture. I was thin but my waist is much smaller now as well as the shape of my hips and my butt is higher and more voluminous.

It's so difficult to pick a doctor. I feel like every single one of them has things about them I love and things about them I detest! It's making the process stressful!

The most important thing is the result the doctor gets with his patients. I don't need to be crazy about them, if they are a specialist in the procedure I'm seeking, I know that the reason I'm paying them will be worth it.

That's what I mean though. Like I love the shape a doctor gives but he makes the butts smaller than I like or another doctor does great big butts, but I don't like his lipo as much. Some are really close to me which is preferable, others I have to fly and deal with no after care. Some charge crazy amounts of money. Some have good results, but terrible customer service. I guess you though I meant their personalities, lol?

Exactly!@Victoria3189- i see so many reviews on this site complaining about Dr D's bedside manner...but they Love his results..smh..lol! In my mind, i could care Less about his personality if he can give me my dream body!;) personally speaking, i would much rather a doc that was a prick that did amazing work, then i doc that is syruppy sweet, and his work sucks!;)

Yea it's always good to have a good connection with them. The surgery process is difficult no matter what in the beginning because of the discomfort your in so definitely post op care is a must. I completely understand what you mean. I traveled once for a surgery and it was much harder than the one I did close to home.

How much did you weigh at the time of surgery? How tall are you? My appointment Friday the 28th. I don't know if should wait he said he will do aggressive lipo. I gained around 13 pounds so far I was 133 now I'm almost 150

I was maybe 120 pounds originally. At the time of surgery I was 131 pounds. I am 5"3. I was worried about weight, but if he takes all your fat and transfers it into your butt and you don't think it's big enough, just eat more and you will only gain it in your butt because you won't have fat cells anywhere else. I got 925cc per cheek, and even though I'm petite, for my body it looks like my butt is very big and my shape is very curvy as well. I wouldn't wait longer, I would just do it.

Yes I wouldn't worry about it at all. Again I was a "small" case so not much was transferred because I am petite and he exceeded my expectations. I think you have enough weight on you and he will reshape you great. if you already have a little butt that's even better because he's adding onto it. I was worried 925 wouldn't be enough and it was definitely enough because my butt is huge now for my frame. Excited for you!!

Should I invest in a bbl pillow or is the boppy pillow fine. So far I've gotten compression socks garment and arm sleeves

Yea I got a boppy pillow. A lot of people like the boppy pillow better but it's up to you. I wouldn't even try a boppy pillow until 2 weeks post op minimum.

Just make sure to get a good compression garment do not get a tight one I got an XL and I cut the butt out of it so I don't compress my new fat grafts. It's important to get a comfortable one too. You're stuck in it for a while I had to get 3 before finding a soft comfy one I could deal with.

Almost 2 weeks Post op BBL
The majority of bruising has dissipated. I feel like most of my swelling is gone. I have been religious with not sitting or even using a boppy pillow, I don't want any pressure on my butt to alter my results. Been eating very good and in virtually no pain. The first few days was hard but now just sore if I touch the donor sites that had liposuction. My waist is so small!!!!
