Hi dolls!
I've been stalking a lot of yall's BBL reviews and journeys and I've been obsessed! This site really is addicting. In the back of my head, I kept thinking which PS I would go with if I ever got my sx and it was always between Dr. Schulman in NY and Dr. Delvecchio in Boston. Although, I did briefly think about heading down to the DR after seeing Duran's work but the thought of recovering in a foreign country scares me!! So, I would rather pay the extra money and suffer through the recovery in the comfort of my own own. That's why I've decided with Dr. Delvecchio! I live 45 mins away from Boston and go to college in the city, which is two subway stations away from Dr.D's office! I've read all his reviews twice and practically memorized all the info on his website. I don't mess around when I'm doing my research! lol.
I filled out the form on RS to contact him and I'll be calling his office tomorrow as well.
I doubt he has anything relatively soon (Like July ish) because he's so busy but it would be great if he does! Here in Boston, people are pretty reserved about plastic surgery and my catholic affiliated college especially! That's why I want to get this procedure done before school starts so I can tell people I've been doing a sh*t ton of squats if they ask about my transformed body lol! If not, I would have to schedule something in December during my winter vacation period.
Question for those who have gotten their BBL w/ Dr. D... How long did it take for his staff to contact you? I know he's busy but did you have to schedule your sx date a few months later from your initial consultation?
I head back to college the very end of August and I would prefer to have the sx in July so I have a good time to recover because I really don't want to go back to school all bruised up and swollen.
Also a little about me:
-I'm half Bengali and half Armenian (No I unfortunately, wasn't blessed with a Kardashian booty)
-I'm 20 years old
-Current weight: 142 lbs 5'5
I've never been thin and I know I never will be just because it's not in my genes. All the women in my family, with the exception of my aunt, all have a heavy build stature. I can lose weight if I eat right and exercise but "I will always be thick" like my mom says...just not thick in all the right places :/
I'm hoping this surgery will give me the shape and physique I so desperately desire. You have no idea how frustrating it is to go shopping with your gfs and watch them try on clothes with ease and then you trying on the same thing but it makes you look like a potato. I'm not kidding...I once walked in to VS and asked them if they have bathing suits for potato shaped women lol.
Anyways, I know I'm definitely going to get this procedure done but I'm scared about how I should tell my mom. She grew up in a very conservative Bengali household and she hasn't "Americanized" and never will because she'a very stubborn woman when it comes to her beliefs. I feel like she will see me as someone who's vain and materialistic and won't support me. And also scared it will take a negative toll on our close relationship. I think it will be hard to explain to her why I want this surgery because I've never really complained about my body to her. Anyone have tips on how to share this kind of stuff with family?
As for telling my friends from college, I don't know if I have to? If they comment, I can just say I gained weight and luckily it went to my ass haha. Or that I worked out really hard over the summer and all the squats gave me a big booty.
Anyways, I'll keep you lovelies posted and please send any tips/advice my way! :)

Eeek!
Hi ladies,
The idea of letting someone see my body and analyze all the problem areas is so embarrassing/scary for me. I can't help but feel insecure when I think about showing my body to Dr. D. I keep reminding myself that he's a very experienced doctor who has seen all different types of bodies. Anyways, before I show the doc my body, I thought it would help to post my before pics on here. Sort of dipping my toes in the water. I took a bunch so you all would could really get an idea of what my body currently looks like. I took this in the bathroom with harsh fluorescent lights so I hope the light and shadows didn't create a false illusion of what I look like. The pictures are really sad lol.
I also measured my weight right before taking these pics and I weighed in at 136 lbs...lolwhat?!
Last I had weighed myself was probably sometime in April and I was 142 lbs (I'm not one of those people who regularly check their weight haha). I definitely look bigger and feel bigger so I think I lost weight from muscle and not fat. I haven't really been working out as much since I've been out of school.
Also, from the pics my arm doesn't really look that bad... BUT in real life I hate my flabby arms. I have never worn sleeveless shirts or dresses because my arms look so huge and make me feel really insecure. I really want the fat from my arms gone so I can wear those types of tops. Do you ladies think I should? I honestly would just spend the extra money to have everything on my body look good. Let me know...

I am scheduled with Dr. D on July 15th for surgery. My consult was mortifying..lol. IN any event dr. d is VERY straight forward and will tell what he thinks you should do and whether the result will be a good one. Best of luck! I will be following! Dr. D is the best bbl surgeons in this part of the country!

That's just the consult, then I have to have pre-op and then the actual sx so who knows how long I'll have to wait. Keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks :)

Hey girl thanks! What kind of results are u looking for that dimario can't do..im So undecided I jus want full lipo with bbl

June 24, 2015
compare the pics from Dr D to Dr DiMario..dr d gives hips and does large volume buts and lipo. He also operates in a hospital which allows for more aggressive lipo. DiMario operates in a surgical suite so he has to be more conservative for safety reasons. Plus DiMario isn't a board certified Surgeon.

June 24, 2015
he varies but i think its between 8600 to 9600 depending on financing, cash, areas..etc
June 26, 2015
You have an awesome body and shape! And your going to look so curvy and sexy after if you choose to go through with the bbl! Im rooting for you!

June 26, 2015
Thanks babe! I just saw your pics on your profile, you're going to look incredible as well! Looking forward to following your journey

June 27, 2015
Yes go for the arm lipo. A lot of others may say its not worth it but it definitely is. Happened to my friend. She didn't get the arm lipo with her bbl and then complained to me every damn day about how her arms feel so huge and how she feels like a linebacker! She went to get it done months later and needless to say I hear no more complaining lol. And I can really see the difference it makes in the overall shape of your body. Good luck. You are going to look great.

Thanks! I'm going to ask Dr. D for arm lipo and hope he agrees. I heard in some cases he refuses to lipo certain areas and asks for them to come back and get it done separately? Along with the BBL I want to lipo full abdomen, full back, flanks, thighs, and arms. I want to be petite with a big ass haha

Consult booked!
Hi lovelies,
Called Dr. D's office in Boston yesterday and scheduled my consult to be on July 7th! Big shoutout to @KCruz for hooking this girl up with a free consult!
Anyways, the date isn't too far away so I was wondering if you ladies have tips on how to prepare for the consult? Are there specific questions you think I should ask?
Side note: I just got Invisalign for my teeth yesterday and have to wear them for 9 months. I didn't think they were gonna be a big pain, but they actually are. My teeth hurt like crazy so I'm hoping that when I do get the BBL and still have my Invisalign that the two don't kill me lol.

@Bostoncollegegirl Hi lady I know you are excited about you BBL. You can ask him questions like length of procedure,
what's is the average percentage of fat you will lose
How many cc can you expect
Dos and don't
Recovery time
Complications rate
Apple our Heart shape ets. Those are just a few of the questions I could think of quickly.

I just keep telling myself that it's MY money, MY body, and ultimately MY decision. Even if my mom is mad, she will hopefully get over it.
