BBL 3 week update
Ok so I haven't updated because I was dealing with the pain of my lymphatic lumps. One thing Dr Delvecchio does not inform you of is this. I was so focused on getting hips I forgot about the liposuction part. I came on real self and was helped by the amazing reviews advising me to do lymphatic drainage massages. I went on youtube and watched this video of a massage http://youtu.be/JA-qNvlcNSY. Im telling you, I had huge lumps and tight skin, I felt like I had put on a toddlers shirt lol no lie, and then i have to sleep on my stomach which made the pain worse I am sure! I did this massage before bed and that same night I went to the bathroom more than 10 times! My urine was crystal clear! This is a sign it is working. the next day my stomach was no lie 60% flatter, the bumps were substantially smaller! So I do this now every morning and night. I am almost completely flat probaby 97% lol, skin still is not as elastic as it should be but it is only a matter of a couple weeks. Its crazy, in a span of 2 weeks, 14 days you are almost completely healed from liposuction for those of you who work I know it is important to get a realistic time frame. So two weeks exactly you are nearly healed
So after my last review I went to my first post op. It was very challenging getting there in the car, I cringed at every bump lol i get there and he looks at my lumps and just says I am healing well and says thanks for choosing me and that was it. Super quick.
I understand from previous reviews about the doctor as far as bedside manner, he isnt rude per say however you do get the impression he is busy and is trying to do this a quickly as possible. Maybe its the fact that he has done hundreds of these he is over it lol. As far the results I love them. This doctor listened to my concerns, he knew i was only concerned with an hourglass figure, I didnt want the shelf of my butt to be ridiculous. I am petite, I am not interested in being gawked at by men because of that haha. My hips are perfectly proportional, I look amazing in all of my dresses.
I have a second and I think final post op next week. I hope that if I gain weight, it will gain in my hips and I dont eat my words later lol. I just want them a little bigger, this may be body dysmorphia who knows. Everyone says it looks amazing
Hope this helps, I will get pictures on here but i just wanted to wait until the final result.

I have been obsessed with growing hips from an early age. I have a boy figure, very square at the torso. Ive tried working out and dieting by increasing my protein intake while doing a lot of cardio and leg exercises to try and gain the muscle to appear more curvy. It just hasn't worked so I resorted to cosmetic surgery. I found Dr Delvecchio, one of the top doctors in the north east for fat transfer. I requested a consultation on real self and he contacted me within the hour. His receptionist scheduled me for an appointment just a few days later. Now I have a butt, its big and round but I lack hips, so it protrudes in the back but I dont have an hour glass. He understood this completely and my surgery was scheduled for 2 weeks after.
day of: Had to be at the hospital by 6am but no one came to just me until 715 which was aggravating since I woke up at 430 to get ready. The nurse was very sweet and told me the first few days will be hard but after that the recovery will be easy. I met with the anesthesiologist and then the doctor came in to mark me up. He was very warm and funny, he reassured me again that he will focus on giving me hips.
surgery: was easy, Ive never had surgery so I was a bit nervous but once they gave me something to help calm me I was flying!!! they laid me on the operation table which normally I would be freaked out with but I was excited lol. As soon as they put the air piece on my mouth, I swear it took 2 breaths and I was waking up in recovery! lol the only con for me was after the surgery the doctor didn't come in to see me and tell ne how i did. No one gave me an explanation and jus poof disappeared. But he did visit my mother in the waiting room and told her this and also showed her my after pictures, I still would have liked him to have popped in.
The pain: Once in recovery it felt like I had put in a hard workout at the gym after not going for a while. I felt just really soar but good. I even tired to eat but got nauseous. they let me sleep for a couple of hours and then I headed home.
The first day was fine but it got hard during the evening, I guess when the anesthesia wore off. I was having trouble breathing because the compression garment was so tight and I was on my stomach. I loosened it and it was fine. I also only took one pain killer as prescribed but found it wasn't enough so I started taking 2 the next day
Day 2: Very sore my upper torso was killing me where they did the lipo, but I dealt with it by sleeping which began to give me a headache. by this evening the pain started to become more manageable so I reverted back to taking one pain killer as prescribed (they gave me Dilaudid)
day 3: today I barley have any pain, lipo area is still sore but not unbearable as it felt the last two nights. Oh the antibiotics make you itch so I would suggest getting something for it. I only had blackseed oil which helped but its really important for potential patients to do that because I was in a lot of pain scratching.
my post op is in 3 days will update you guys how it goes and how my pain is going. I will try and get some pictures up. Message me if you have anymore questions
