I had a mild case of tuberous breasts and a 34A pre-op. I have an athletic body and a small chest and wanted a more proportionate body, a nice D cup. 250 and 280 cc silicone moderate profile plus impants were used on either side, with 100 ccs of fat from thighs. It is almost a month post-op, and I am extremely disappointed with the size. They come nowhere near what I wanted. They are a 34B. I am 5' 5 126 pounds with a 34 bandwith. What would be the appropriate implant size to bring me to a D in a revision surgery? Also, is it recommended to find a new doctor due to the dissatisfying results?

Welcome! Thanks for sharing your experience with us, sorry that you are not happy with your results. I encourage you to ask a Doctor on the site and share a photo with them to see what information they can provide to you. I think also by adding photos to your review the community can offer more feedback.

Have you followed up with your Doctor?

I'm sorry about what happened to you. .. I had a horrible experience with dr Delvecchio myself. Have you look for a lawyer about your situation?

21 Year-Old, Breast Aug with Fat Transfer, Terrible Experience

mgg

Dr. Del Vecchio has an initial bedside manner that is not consistent with his results or attentiveness post-op. He was accusatory and abrupt when I was unhappy with my results. Additionally, he provided little to no warning of the danger of fat transfer, which suspiciously is a project and paper he is working on. This is why he is a strong advocate for it, despite the fact that there is no conclusive evidence that the fat stays. Basically, you are paying to have fat moved then reabsorbed by your body.

Thankfully, I went to a wonderful doctor who helped correct the work he did. 9 months after Del Vecchio's surgery, I discovered he had left some stitches in my armpit incision scars. These stitches created an epithelial tunnel on my skin, which had to be scalpeled open to remove the stitches he LEFT IN FOR 9 MONTHS. I am now on Duricef ( a strong antibiotic) and my competent surgeon removed what Del Vecchio carelessly and dangerously left in my incisions. Complications could have been more serious had I not noticed that he had left these in.

I strongly advise against going to this doctor. Please explore other options. He does have good work in his portfolio, and I hope my experience is an anomaly. But, I highly doubt that. Look elsewhere.

I am so sorry to hear that! Did he do the virtual representation of what they would look like with that size implant? And can I ask you what surgeon you ended up going with? I just had mine done by a PS outside of Boston and I am happy with mine
