My motivation for doing this procedure was to help myself feel and look better in my own skin-"literally." I decided for once to take care of myself and treat myself to a change that would lift my life in positive direction. Self confidence can take you a long way. As mothers we tend to focus on everyone around us but ourselves. It was time to focus on me.
I had my Mommy Makeover operation November 20th. As a single mother, I scheduled my operation around my daughters Thanksgiving break. I also made sure to find support/care for both my child and myself for the recovery period.
