Day four and the weird sensations begin

I am at day four now. I've felt a bit itchy and cold in the areas I had done... I've also felt pins and needles and slight throbbing. Nothing major. I received a call from the clinic on Monday to check on me and talked through the sensations and swelling. I was told all was normal and part of the healing process. Bruising is turning yellow now.. I can see that the swelling is also subsiding.. Wearing the garment is a real drag...!!

Day after

Well I am one day post..
The actual operation was far better than expected. I went in and the nurses gave me a Valium before I went into theatre and fitted the cannula. The Dr drew me up
and took pics. I was slightly out of it and only remember bits of the actual procedure. I actually laid on my side for the procedure and then on my back. I didn't have to stand up at all which is what I had expected. It never hurt- I think I said 'ow' once but only because I felt a sensation. I actually slept on and off and was annoyed when I had to get up. Very odd for me as I am super anxious and a super wuss. I had a warm blanket over me be whole time so I couldn't see what was happening which I think was good. I did see the fat at the end- they told me it was three litres but I hope not as that seems way too much! I did feel queezy in recovery and had a little vomit then ate slowly. I went home and felt much better then passed out. I leaked from the time I left surgery and all night. Blood was running down my legs and soaked through the pads under my garment. I slept on three towels.
When I woke up I felt fine. It was very painful to get up and start walking but not as bad as expected. I did not feel lightheaded and showered with no issues. I also remove blood soaked pads. The one thing I noticed was a big dent in my right outer thigh... I'm really hoping this is due to swelling but it is huge and very noticeable.. Looks like too much was taken out in this spot. Here's hoping it evens out. Today I took it easy but felt fine. Going to the loo and touching my skin kills though... The incision sites ache too. I'm on antibiotics now and just normal Panadol. I'll post pics soon

28 no kids - stubborn pockets of fat on side of...

28 no kids - stubborn pockets of fat on side of thighs and bellow the butt. I work out regularly doing heavy weights and cardio but cannot change this area. Also have terrible skin tone and cellulite in this area and hate going to the beach because of it. Obviously genetic as my mum is exactly the same! Have tried everything before considering a surgical option.
I consulted with three surgeons including Steve Merten who seemed great but he only
Does lipo with breast augmentation and Dr Tavakoli who basically told me I had such bad skin tone that I should not do it. That was a major let down as I didn't think i was beyond help! Dr Tavakoli suggested I get my breasts done (I had lost so much weight trying to work off my thighs) and continue in the gym. I decided I would continue in the gym and scrap the idea of breast enlargementss. Months later I looked in the mirror and thought 'this is not changing '. I have been training for years, weigh approx 49kg yes there is a party of fat and cellulite happening on my hamstring and butt that will not leave. After catching a particularly unpleasant glimpse of my rear I decided to book an appointment with Dr Ron Bezic at Refine clinic. A nurse who works with a plastic surgeon recommended him. I had an initial appointment with the practice manager Manuela who seemed very open and warm. I saw Dr Bezic at another appointment. I found him to be very easy to talk to and he took a lot of time talking through the concerns I had. I discussed my concern about my butt dropping if too much was taken out etc. he drew all over
My thighs. I would have been there for an hour. I booked my appointment that day. I will be sharing my experience.
