Rhinoplasty with Dr Warwick Nettle

Several months ago I underwent rhinoplasty surgery performed by Dr Warwick Nettle whose practice Silkwood Medical is located in Bondi Junction in Sydney's east. I had long thought about this procedure and had consulted a highly recommended plastic surgeon in Melbourne's Toorak area in 2014, but did not like the examples of this surgeon's work that I had been shown and the timing wasn't right for me to proceed. I am extremely happy that I made the decision to have this procedure this year with Dr Nettle. I am thrilled with the results of my surgery, and impressed not only by Dr Nettle's surgical skill but also his manner and that of the entire Silkwood Medical staff. Dr Nettle and his staff are polite, warm, attentive and understanding, which is exactly what you want when undergoing a major cosmetic procedure like this. I felt comfortable asking questions at every stage of the process. In the several months since my surgery, I have received many compliments on how natural looking my nose is. My fear was that my large Roman nose might be made into a tiny upturned "Michael Jackson" nose which would look out of place on my face, but Dr Nettle has given me a beautiful nose that is in perfect proportion with my other features, enhancing my face. The procedure was nowhere near as painful as I had expected (a tonsillectomy was much more painful!) The worst part of my recovery was the bruising under my eyes, something that can be concealed with a hat and make-up if you do want to go out. The cost of this procedure was not insignificant and is something to seriously consider, but I am very happy with my new nose and extremely satisfied I chose Dr Nettle to perform this surgery.

The total cost of this procedure was AUD$22,000 but that's including Dr Nettle's fee, the anesthetist's fee and the cost of an overnight stay in East Sydney Private Hospital. Dr Nettle's fee alone was around AUD$14,000.
