Dr. Nettle did an excellent job, with the consultation, pre op, procedure, and post op appointments. He is very thorough with his work, and I couldn't be happier with the final results and ongoing support from Silkwood, and Dr. Nettle himself.

Oh my goodness, you look fantastic. Was your scalp very flexible? Congrats to you and your sister for both having great results
It was flexible enough in the end, but it was a tough job for Dr Nettle Thankyou
Keep us updated! I'm interested to see how the results compare over time to those overseas in California.
will do :)
My gosh - it looks fantastic. What is your opinion of the scar? Very interested but scared...
The scar is getting less and less noticeable each week, very happy :)
Looks good how high was your forehead before the procedure? Is this one stage surgery?
How much did the procedure cost and how many cms did you lower it? :)

looks as though you have healed swiftly! I can notice a fuller head of hair! Just how much hair did you have taken to put this in, may I ask? I used to have enough hair for five people....not the case now. Please inform me what this was like and I shall do some searching. Thanks for your share, looks like it's working out beautiful for you. Happy for you on this. Way to go!
They don't add any hair to your head, they just make an incision and pull your hairline down lower- hence the tightness post surgery. The scalp is stretched so you do lose some hair due to the tension, and incision lines, but no hair is added, and not enough lost to worry about :)
I personally have never heard of this type of procedure and I hope that you heal well. I bet you are very pretty to begin with! God bless and take care.
Healed very quickly, thankyou :)
It's looks great I bet it hurt .I never knew it could be done

I am an 18 year old girl fulfilling a hairdressing apprenticeship.
Through my schooling I have always been very self conscious of my hairline, right up until my surgery. Last year being 2014, I looked into hairline lowering surgery and came across Dr. Nettle at Silkwood in Bondi.
I called and scheduled a consultation, and Silkwood Medical has been nothing but helpful through the whole process. The staff are very friendly and are always actively seeking ways to help, & go above and beyond your expectations.
Since surgery, I have gained alot more confidence in myself, it definitely has changed the way I feel about myself already and it has only been 2 weeks since surgery. The cost of the procedure and the few days of down time and healing are a small price to pay for the difference it has made to my life.

Michelle and Dr Nettles' assisting nurse, Elise are perfect complements and are always at hand when in need, pre/post op questions are always thoroughly answered.

Silkwood are a very warm and caring team.

I highly recommend. Awesome Job!

Wow! Really interested to see how the scarred looks after a month
So happy reading your review, I'm having the procedure done as well in December And it's great hearing from previous patients of Dr Nettle. Extremely happy for you and I recognise myself so much in what you writing. So now, hope you don't mind me asking you some questions:) Just wondering things like how much he was asble to take off and was that more or less then you expected? Are you able to wear your hair back now? Etc... Please keep us posted on your journey and I would love to see some more photos! :) take care and speedy recovery
He took about 2cms off. I didn't want a small forehead, I did tell him I wanted a higher one rather than a lower one, to keep in portion of my face. And I am very pleased with the outcome :) I wear my hair back at home, around family. But I do wear winter knit headbands to cover the scars that are healing. Healing very quickly tho! Scabbing is starting to come away. I will post photos very soon. Goodluck with your surgery. It is a very speedy recovery
Thank you, can´t wait to see more photos!! :) (And completely agree with having a forehead thats rather a little high then to low)

Thank you for sharing! Have you experienced much pain during your recovery?

Not much pain at all. Just tightness. Obviously pain the next couple days following surgery, but nothing a few panadeines couldn't fix. I was back at work the same week with minimal to no pain.
Looks great!
Beautiful job! Oh Hod I have the same forehead like you! I guess that will be my next surgery after my face and neck lift on June 18. So happy for you.
It honestly does make a massive difference to your life, definitely worth it!
It looks great, but also very painful...what was the pain level like?
The pain level was very little, mostly just tightness. Obviously there is pain the next day or two, but very limited. I was expecting alot of pain, but was very surprised with what I had
