I was feeling depressed about the way I looked. For many years, I held my age very well but in the past 24 months noticed that I was aging much faster. I couldn't bear to look at myself in the mirror and even going to the hairdresses and being forced to sit in front of a mirror became unbearable. My partner is an extremely supportive man and hated seeing me so down in the dumps, so as a very extravagant Christmas present, booked in and paid for my "overhaul" procedure. I now feel a million dollars. I have dropped at least 15 years in my age; everyone tells me I look amazing - almost like a model which (at 47) is a huge compliment. I feel confident and have a big bounce back into my life. My doctor, Dr. Warwick Nettle, was extremely patient and empathetic with me. He told me very plainly what he recommended for a best result and I am absolutely delighted, His team at Silkwood are just beautiful - each visit they made me feel like I was the only patient they had. They were caring, considerate and were willing to give me a hug after surgery when I was feel bruised and battered. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Nettle - my partner thinks he is a "Magician" as he has changed my life and my overall perspective forever. I am more than happy for people to contact me direct, should they wish to discuss this further, and I'm also happy to share before and after photos - if that will helped. All I can really add is that if you feel like you need a change, FIND THE MONEY to do it. The only regret you will have is if you do nothing. It is well worth every cent and while I understand I am in a very privileged position to have such a caring, loving partner to support me, I would have found a way to do this on my own anyway.

Im so happy for you.I wish Dr Nettle wasn't so expensive though or did "probono" work for poorer peoples faces.
Do you have any more before after photos as the littles ones under the main one arn't able to be enlarged?

Im in similar situations, saving for few years for that,but im sure its going to be worth it ,having mine in july.....but would not take risk on my face with budget options

Hi here I have zero scars at the front of my ears, even though I had quite a few stitches there. The only scarring you can see is behind my ears and under my chin but you have to really look for them. I have loads of photos taken every day from the day of the operation until today. I take one daily as I'm still healing. My "after photos" don't get taken until the two months mark which is in 3 weeks so my doctor likes to see my progress each day. I will post some shortly. But there are absolutely no visible scars !

That's amazing! The scars are what I was most concerned with. I just realise you had fat injections to the temple area...how does that look? My temples have really hollowed a lot and I was thinking fat there would help. have you noticed much of a difference? And you had some fat injected to your lips too. Do they look good? Not too fake? It's hard to see on the pics you posted of the difference before and after with lips and temples. Can't wait to see more of your pics! Hugs xx

Here are some photos - the first photo was taken in Feb just before my facelift on 16th February. The after photo was taken last week, almost 4 weeks post my operation. I still have many months of recovery before I see the final finish but I have to say, the difference is amazing and I feel incredible.

You looked fine before. You look great after also. I think 40 thousand is very, beyond expensive for that work. You look beautiful in both pics. Just think the doctor charged way too much, considering the costs in the states and what little work you needed.

Actually I had quite a lot of work done - the doctor didn't charge $40k - he charged $28k the balance was in hospital fees $7k and $5k anaesthetics. I had a neck lift, a lower face lift and a temple lift as well as fat injections into my lips and cheeks. While I appreciate the compliment that I looked fine before. I didn't think I did and I guess that's all that counts. I feel so much better now than I did before and I suppose I'm the one that has to be happy with what I see every time I look in the mirror. I had lost so much weight from my face over the years and now my face has a lot more shape because of the fat injections. Mind you, the fat inhected should last up to 5 years so really, if you consider how much fillers cost, I've actually saved money! It all comes down to what you are willing to do (and pay) to feel comfortable in your own skin. I am the diet to admit that without the support of my beautiful partner, I would have struggled to pay for this operation. Suggest you see add Nettle, explain your situation and see what he can do. He is a very reasonable man and really does care about the patient so maybe you can work something out with him. What have you got to lose?

I had fat transfer to my face 8 years ago and you can trust me, it doesn't wear off! Best thing I have ever done! You are beautiful in both pics but I know how it feels to want to stop time before it's too late. Some people do wait so long that they don't get such great results as yours.

I had the surgery just over a year ago and I am amazed and delighted at the results. It took no time at all for the swelling to go down and now, a year into the procedure, I look and feel 10 years younger. People seriously can't believe I turn 48 in 11 days! Dr Warrick Nettle has worked magic. He has the best follow up care possible and has been there for me from the beginning even to now with appointments whenever I have questions. I'm so impressed with his manner that I would not only recommend, but absolutely urge other, to at least meet with him if you have intentions to renew yourself. I write this review not because I've been asked to, but because I am so delighted with the results. I had lots of buising in the first week, but within 3 weeks I was BACK AT WORK and while I was still quite swollen, most people thought I looked amazing .... and this was way before I actually started to heal properly.

Yes I know EXACTLY what you are saying. Dr Nettle and his caring and empathic team, including Michelle, Sherieve, Cathy and Marika are absolutely the best! I had my facelift and fat filler done in late November 2016 and the aftercare I received was second to none. I was slow to heal which caused me a bit of grief (have since learned I'm low in iron ferritin). I went in to see dr Nettle and Sherieve on a weekly basis all through December and January and they ALWAYS greeted me warmly and compassionately. Dr Nettle is a complete perfectionist, artistic and extremely knowledgeable. I've just been back to have my pics done and seeing my before and afters was pretty startling. You look incredible. I'm so happy to be rid of my saggy neck and I'm completely scar free. How does that happen, I have NO IDEA! All the best to you xxxx
