Absolutely Brilliant - Thank You

I can not thank Dr Naveen Somia (Bondi Junction and Norwest in Sydney) enough for his brilliant work and the positive impact having an abdominoplasty and liposuction has had on my life. (I also had a breast reduction at the same time) I gained 25kg with both of my children and despite losing most of it, I never lost my baby bump. Three years after having my second child I would be asked on average twice a day when my baby was due. Most people were apologetic when I told them I was not pregnant, but some were quite rude. I had some people tell me I should go to the gym and others told me I should wear corsets or shapewear. My baby bump was so big I even had people stand up on public transport to give me their seats because they thought I was pregnant. I spent many hours at the gym, thousands on personal trainers and even wore hot, uncomfortable shapewear in the middle of summer to no avail. I live 2000km from Sydney and was visiting a friend of mine in Sydney last year. I was complaining to her about my baby bump. She told me it was not going to away with diet and exercise and if I was serious about getting rid of it, I should speak to Dr Naveen Somia about it. She had seen a lot of his work and told me he was the best plastic surgeon to go to. I must admit it took me a long time to pluck up the courage to call his office, but I am glad I did. Because I lived so far away, I initially had a phone consultation with him and sent him photos. Within minutes of speaking to him, I felt relaxed, confident in him and knew I would have the surgery with him. He explained the procedure to me in sufficient detail, what to expect post op and how to decrease scarring. He really listened to me and answered my questions honestly. I flew to Sydney the day before the procedure to meet with him. I have only been to Sydney on short visits before and his lovely office staff told me how to get to Norwest on public transport and checked on me to make sure I didn't get lost. On the day of the procedure someone asked me if I was nervous. I was not at all. The results were amazing. I did not believe my stomach could possibly be that flat. Whilst I was in hospital I couldn't stop crying I was just SO HAPPY. I never imagined it could look that great. I cant believe how quickly my scar is healing and I know it is only going to continue to get better. I have had so many positive comments since the surgery even from people who don't know what I have done. I even have people telling me I look a lot younger. I did not realise the negative impact the baby bump had had on my self esteem until after the surgery. I feel physically and psychologically better than I have in years. I actually enjoy clothes shopping again, I can wear what I like instead of trying to find clothes that hide the baby bump. I do not get upset looking in the mirror or at photos. Gone are the days people give up their seats for me on public transport. And instead of getting asked about my due date I am getting asked out on dates!!! My only regret is not speaking to Dr Naveen Somia years ago. I would recommend anyone considering plastic surgery to speak to him. Absolutely brilliant - love it!!!!
