Horrible outcome would not recommend
WORTH IT
As most people are aware I've had time away from real self and had the account closed for a short period. I have suffered physically and mentally since this operation and require another surgery like a lot of other patients. I was very excited and thankful in the beginning and prematurely wrote my review .. I regret not looking into the background of this doctor prior to surgery..

Need revision surgery
Hi everyone! - My current update is I Do very much require a revision rhinoplasty to preform bridge work and lift my hanging tip... my husband and I have decided it is in our best interest to go and find a different qualified rhinoplasty/ plastic surgeon who can provide extensive photographs of work they have preformed , before we decide on who would be the best surgeon. My story is very unique so it's hard for me to answer some of your questions and comment. As first mentioned 5 days post... Dr Zacharia was recommended by a production company .. in fact I was a cast member for a upcoming reality tv series in which Dr Zacharia is the primary Surgeon. Due to the unsatisfactory outcome of my nose and another surgery I had for the show , I have since revoked consent and do not wished to be featured as part of the television series. - I have mentioned this so I stop getting inundated with private and public messages from other patients unhappy with their outcome or wanting to know things I cannot answer.. Eg cost etc..I have tried my best to give those of you support , but ultimately everyone's experience and anatomy is different. I can only suggest you call Dr Zacharia's office and ask to speak to him personally or his lovely PA, who I am sure will be more then happy to look after you and address your concerns. This is by all means NOT a personal attack this is a review of my experience and outcome . I am happy to answer any basic question in regards to rhinoplasty itself but I do not wish to comment further in any negative way.

Sorry to hear. I had the same problem, 'hanging tip' and the lack of the 'slope'. I had revision done by Dr Sylaidis in Adelaide and he did a fantastic job. Just a note for your new surgeon, I found out Dr Zac had removed my columella, hence the hanging tip. So they had to rebuild it with a graft and soft tissue from my groin. He also found that Dr Zac had used a graft in my tip which made it stick out and look witchy. He never mentioned the graft to me and the other surgeon wasn't sure why he had removed my columella. So you need to find someone who can reconstruct your columella. I just saw Dr Zac post a promo for your episode on his Facebook page too so might want to take action if you've revoked your consent ? Hi Emma omg it has been my worst nightmare!!!! I am doing up my report for the HCCC now if you think it's a path you want to take to get this kind of substandard care stopped then you should do so.. I am an absolute mess and suffered since

Hi Katie I am currently suffering mental anguish and depression after the way this surgery and treatment has left me so I am overcoming this before proceeding with another surgery

Hi! Contact the HCCC direct and they can advise you how to proceed with a complaint. I am shocked at how many people have contacted me and have been left with shocking results from Dr Zacharia . Dr Zac has been prosecuted by the medial tribunal in the past ( I found this information after my surgery) Good Luck with everything! I know how much of an emotional nightmare it is!

Not happy at 5 month mark
Ok so it's been almost 5 months and I am now realising I am not happy.:.. my bulbous tip has been removed but now I have asymmetry which you do get told can happen and my side profile is awful ... my tip hangs and I have a straight nose on the side... although front profile looks better without the bulbous tip it's not perfect.. I wish for a review .. I have been so hopeful all this time that it would settle as told can take 12 months for results

They always say 12 months but if you are not happy at 5 months it's probably not going to change much

yeah no it's not going to change as the bridge had no rasping so until a revision surgery is done and this preformed then it will stay long and straight and the lip will hang.. worst anxiety and I hate looking at myself or getting photos taken unless they are on a "good" angle ... ahhhh I am sure this doctor will look after me once I am able to have a consult and express my concerns

I'm sorry about your results. Dr Zachariah ruined my nose a few years ago. It was a horrible experience. I hope you find some relief soon.

Omg, I feel absolutely the same way... I stopped posting as I was too upset to portray my real situation and how I'm feeling and look. I haven't followed through with any posting as I'm also too distressed by it all and very confused about how to go about resolving it. Have you set up any external email etc so we can contact each other about it all l? I think that would benefit us all xx
