After years of research and worrying I might be...

After years of research and worrying I might be left looking ridiculous I finally found dr Zacharia- he was recommended to me by a filming/ television casting agent in Sydney. I am so glad he was.. His level of professionalism and friendliness far exceeds a lot of surgeons in which I had made contact with over a long period to have consults on my nose.. Dr Zacharia is highly recommended experienced and preformed thousands of rhinoplasty cases over his career... He assured me my nose was going to have an amazing out come and only 6 days since surgery I can already see the difference and I still have a cast on my nose.. His clinic staff are lovely and go above and beyond to assure your comfort.. I have read some other reviews on here about dr Zac and I simply feel they are "fake" as no supporting photos or real detail ... And if I was unhappy and made the effort to write a review to "warn" people I would be sure to attach photos to support my case.: dr Zac is amazing and I highly recommend him to anyone

6 weeks since Rhino... still so swollen but taking shape

Hi All!!! It will be 6 weeks tomorrow since my Rhino/tipplasty with Dr Zac.. Still so very swollen but I can see changes happening Daily(and I am trusting the process!) the ball tip I had is gone so I just have to get use to having a different shape nose:.. my swelling changes all the time and I just got bromolain tablets yesterday to see if they help with swelling... and when I am having a really bad day with swelling the tip looks terrible and I look like a witch.:: but once again I trust Dr Zacharia and the healing process...

Progress shots of healing

Thought I would go through camera roll and upload photos of healing stages for all interested

11 weeks ... photos for everyone freaking out looking for answers throughout their own healing

Hi everyone ! I keep reading reviews and posts and they all pretty much read the same thing ... completely normal we all freak about the same things that are "typical" in rhinoplasty healing...
I still tape everyday as it works! And my research has educated me a lot on why we should tape.... the cartilage has been removed from the skin so it needs to fuse itself back together by little fibres.. so taping pushes the 2 together and promotes faster healing .. it also prevents a fluid build up which is swelling.... when I have a bad swelling day my tip gets huge and long and it drops- due to the weight of the swelling... my nose still randomly runs some days so I like to keep cotton tops in my bag and tissues. I have good day and bad days... uneven days and great days.. still minimal shape through my bridge to cheeks due to swelling... I can feel when I am really swollen as it feels like my nose has hard cardboard stuck up there ( ha ha interesting way of explaining that) please if you are having a bad day and have any questions I am happy to answer ... the purpose of my own surgery was to get rid of the bulbous(ball) tip and alar slimming

I wish I had researched more to know what to ask for

So it's been 4 months now so I have a better idea of my results.... I have realised I would like a revision so I have a "scoop" side profile... I feel my nose looks very long on my side profile due to having a straight bridge and no curve... My rhinoplasty goal was achieved with my surgery by removing my bulbous tip ... I didn't realise removing the bulbous tip would make the nose appear long and straight... so my plan is revision surgery 2017 to scoop my bridge .. otherwise happy to have my bulbous tip removed

Not happy at 5 month mark

Ok so it's been almost 5 months and I am now realising I am not happy.:.. my bulbous tip has been removed but now I have asymmetry which you do get told can happen and my side profile is awful ... my tip hangs and I have a straight nose on the side... although front profile looks better without the bulbous tip it's not perfect.. I wish for a review .. I have been so hopeful all this time that it would settle as told can take 12 months for results

Need revision surgery

Hi everyone! - My current update is I Do very much require a revision rhinoplasty to preform bridge work and lift my hanging tip... my husband and I have decided it is in our best interest to go and find a different qualified rhinoplasty/ plastic surgeon who can provide extensive photographs of work they have preformed , before we decide on who would be the best surgeon. My story is very unique so it's hard for me to answer some of your questions and comment. As first mentioned 5 days post... Dr Zacharia was recommended by a production company .. in fact I was a cast member for a upcoming reality tv series in which Dr Zacharia is the primary Surgeon. Due to the unsatisfactory outcome of my nose and another surgery I had for the show , I have since revoked consent and do not wished to be featured as part of the television series. - I have mentioned this so I stop getting inundated with private and public messages from other patients unhappy with their outcome or wanting to know things I cannot answer.. Eg cost etc..I have tried my best to give those of you support , but ultimately everyone's experience and anatomy is different. I can only suggest you call Dr Zacharia's office and ask to speak to him personally or his lovely PA, who I am sure will be more then happy to look after you and address your concerns. This is by all means NOT a personal attack this is a review of my experience and outcome . I am happy to answer any basic question in regards to rhinoplasty itself but I do not wish to comment further in any negative way.
