?My main motivating factors for breast reduction...

My main motivating factors for breast reduction surgery were to correct significant size assymetry while also reducing volume and the lift aspect of the surgery was also massively appealing. I wore a 32gg bra. In some cultures this is amazing! I've managed to turn heads and stop traffic in various countries I've visited!Reducing/eliminating back pain, getting clothes to fit more easily and not risking 'taking someone's eye out' as I've been told before with the third button of my shirt were also added bonuses. I wanted to have cleavage that looked less like my 'ass in a bra' and more like two perky boobs with some space in the middle!Restoring a more balanced look to my body and most importantly having two boobs of equal size were my goals. I paid privately and could have chosen any surgeon but i went out of my way to pick Dr Curran. I will recommend him to anyone and I will be forever grateful. Pros I had some goals that I wanted to achieve like being able to wear clothing that requires being bra-less. The breast lift has enabled this. I will never tire of it! I love that when I take my bra off my boobs remain in place. I also have zero back pain. After surgery I immediately felt lighter.ConsRisks of surgery include loss of nipple sensation, it is something to consider for sure. I am hoping that this will return since it is VERY important to me. OutcomeI had approximately 350g of tissue removed from one boob and 200g from the other. I am so unbelievably happy about my results that the scars do not bother me at all. The areola scar is almost invisible. The vertical scar will fade more over time but looks fine now. I get tonnes of compliments from people who don't know I've had this surgery. It seems my body shape appears thinner overall and people think I've lost a tonne of weight when in fact I've lost 550g! Whoever said money can't buy you happiness - LIED! I feel sad that I didn't do this 15 years ago. I found Dr Curran to be a gifted surgeon with a great bedside manner and an overall positive and lovely demeanour. I was very nervous when I first attended a consultation with him simply because the most awful feeling ever is to reveal ones greatest flaws and at that point I could have run out of his office had it not been for his ability to make me feel at ease. After consultation I really relaxed about everything. I gained a tremendous amount of confidence from Dr Curran that day which remained with me throughout. He made it clear that I should have realistic expectations from the outset and explained the risks of this surgery which I fully understood and said I was a candidate for a vertical reduction. I was delighted since this means less scarring and nice projection and potentially nice cleavage could be achieved. He also does some liposuction to the side boob area which I was very excited about. He said I would experience very little pain.On the day of surgery I attended the hospital independently. I could not have done this without Dr Currans support. His secretary - Mary - has also been amazingly helpful and wonderful. Post operatively I found this to be the case also.
