I had my first kid when I was 20. And then at 25 we had twins. The twin pregnancy really stretched my stomach out, and even with getting the most fit I had ever been (16% body fat, 125lbs, and 5'2) I still had extra skin on my belly. And then at 29 years old, I became a surrogate for some friends. Triplets! I had the triplets in November of 2016. I got back to my normal weight, got super fit again yet still had the extra skin. I ended up getting breast augmentation in march of 2016 thinking that would make me feel better about my stomach but it didn't. Although I loved everything on my body, I still hated my stomach. Finally decided I had to have a tummy tuck even though I was terrified of how painful the recovery would be. I have had two c-sections and the pain was just terrible! I had my tummy tuck January 3rd of 2017 and let me tell you, EASY! Honest to goodness it has been a breeze! I quit taking my pain pills on day three, had my first bowel novenent on day three, and stood up straight on day 10. Had my drains removed day 6. And now I'm almost two weeks post op and feel almost 100% back to normal. I am 100% happy with my results. My surgeon did amazing and transformed me. I have never felt this good in my body and I'm still swollen so I can't imagine how much more I'll love it after the swelling goes away. My word of advice to anyone considering a tummy tuck: do it! You won't regret it. And do not let other women's recovery horror stories influence you. I almost canceled my surgery bc I read so many stories about how awful the recovery was. Mine has been seriously easy! I kid you not. Best decision ever!

Congrats. You look awesome. I'm of the same height but got to lose 20 more pounds of pregnancy weight before TT. What was your fitness routine?

Thank you so much! Honestly I just run about 15-20 miles a week and lift weights at the gym 3 to 4x a week. I try to drink a gallon of water a day and jut try to eat good. It's all about moderation!

Thank you so much for sharing your story!! I am the same height and weight as you! I have had four kids. The first two were singletons and the next two were twins. I have been obsessed with the stories on RS! And I have to tell you I am feeling so frightened about the idea of doing the TT! I keep telling myself anything feels easy after carrying two babies at a time! Ha! Do you mind me asking...how many cc's did you do for your BA? That's another thing I can't settle on! My surgery is set for march 7th. So nervous! So excited!

Hey girl! Trust me, I was terrified to have a TT bc my c-sections were AWFUL so I figured a TT would be just as bad, if not worse. NOT the case. I kid you not, it's been a walk in the park. My TT was just as easy as my BA. I highly recommend it. It will change your life! I went with 500cc, silicone, high profile implants. I love them. My surgeon told me I couldn't go any less then 400cc, something to do with my body, like it wouldn't have made a big difference. I felt like 500 might be too big bc 500cc just sounds huge, but I'm so happy that's what I went with. They look so natural, yet it's obvious to people that know me that I got them done. I'm 100% happy. Hopefully that helps! :)

14 days post op and feeling amazing!

I'm 14 days post op today and cannot believe how good I feel. I am recovering really well. And I seriously LOVE my new stomach. I still have some swelling but it's going down more and more each day. I'm so happy with my results. If you're in the Boise area, I highly recommend Dr.Sorensen. He honestly nailed it! I told him I wanted an hourglass shape and he did just that. And I love the belly button he gave me. I've seen some weird ones so I was a little stressed about that, but the one he gave me is absolutely perfect! I feel so sexy and so much more confident. I can't wait til I get the okay to start running and lifting weights again. I can't imagine how much more awesome I'll look in a few months, especially a year from now once it's all healed. Best decision I've made! So worth it.

20 days post-op from TT

So tomorrow I will be 20 days post op from my full tummy tuck. I go in for my post op appointment. Saw my surgeon say after surgery, and then week 1. Tomorrow marks 3 weeks. I'm so obsessed with my new stomach. I feel great. Like I've said in my other posts, this was such an easy surgery and recovery. It blows my mind. I just wish I could hit the gym already and take hot baths, but I'll see what he says tomorrow about that. I feel really thin in the mornings, and as the day goes on depending on how active I'm being, my stomach swells quite a bit. But that seems pretty normal. All in all I am 100% happy with my results and I think my surgeon does amazing work.

Going in for my surgery in one week! Seriously, all the other posts out there make it seem so scary!! Any other advice you would give? Did you do anything special? Take anything? How are you feeling now???

I didn't do anything special. I would highly recommend getting a recliner (I borrowed one from my grandparents). I lived in that for a week and a half. It was a lifesaver. Take it easy but at the same time, get up every hour or two and walk around. My recovery went perfect! I'm two months post op now and I'm so happy. Best thing I've done for myself! You're gonna love it!
