First of all I can't believe I did it. Needles completely freak me out. So I didn't want any details of what and how or anything. But this site has been very insightful for me. It shows me how different we all are but all come out with a what we want. I daily look for post of where I'm at in recovery and different issues or concerns . I went in last tues @ 7:00am Extremely terrified! The staff was amazing very gentle and caring. I got home around 12:30. Don't remember much of anything was expecting to be in a lot more pain! I was sent home with a pain pump and leg compression machine. I was drinking water like crazy so at least 1 am hour my husband was helping me up. That continued for the first few days. I did a lot of sleeping but still was amazed I didn't have more pain. I have been extremely swollen and bloated. I went in for my first check up this past Monday. Man what a boob! He was able to take 1 drain out and told my husband he could do the other in a few days(he is a FNP) and that happened today just a lot of stinging and feeling it slowly come out. I couldn't even look at it. Gross! But glad it's out. We also started the tt on Monday he wants my husband to do this 3 times a day. Ouch!!! Definitely has already softened them up just very tender. I've been able to walk outside each day a little better and straighter. Now I'm shooting for a little longer.
My main goal was to get rid of my belly. I'm 5'5 weight goes between 146-155.
I love to work out very active and feel I have a pretty clean diet. I have always had to watch what I ate. But I love it all. Never had a tight stomach even at my leanest 140 before I got pregnant with my last. At my heaviest size 16. I see pictures and just think how did that happen?
But the past 12 years have been working out on a regular basis. I would get nice compliments of how thin or good I looked but hated my body under the clothes. So I have began my journey. Can not wait to get back to the gym.

Today was a great day. Got by on one Tylenol throughout the day. First day of putting on real clothes and a little makeup. Went and had a haircut which was very needed. Stopped into the grocery store for a few items. Moving around pretty well. I am amazed at how hard it was to drive. Sore top but not painful. I was out for almost 3hrs. Excited to get home put on sweats and relax. Later on went to PTC with hubby. Still feeling great I thought it would be ok to make cookies with my youngest(10). He did it all I was just more supervising. No napping today so I thought I'd get a good nights rest. Insomnia is here. I may have dozed off for an hour off and on but wide awake. Can't seem to get comfy. 2nd night in bed but, even in recliner I'd had sleepless nights. I had also been napping on off throughout the day as well. So what to do??? N

Quick update. Started back to work at the 2 week mark. My doctor of course advised taking the full 4 weeks. For me it felt much better getting up and being productive. It's definetly been a little rough and exhausting. Scars are looking good still have a little scab left at my old belly button. I still have been extremely swollen mostly at the incision sight. I know it's expected and still have many many months before it's gone. Feeling discouraged I put on a bikini took a photo and the pictures tell all. So excited to get back to my work outs. I'm thinking next week I'll start on the treadmill maybe get a little sweat going on.
