Feeling well enough to hop on a treadmill for 20 min. Hope I don't regret it.
At my 3 day post appt they said would be 4-6 mos before everything felt someone normal.
Very lumpy bumpy and stiff. The itching is still the worst of it.

I showered for the first time today. I am definitely feeling more mobile, very stiff but am up and moving. I made it a point to get up and move yesterday, even if it was just doing mini squats in front of the tv.
It was scary getting into the compression suit 1 day after the procedure, it hurt but once I was in it things started feeling better. It was more comfortable than the compression wrap.
No pain meds since the procedure except for some Tylenol yesterday for a bad headache.
All of the leaking was pretty much done by last night. I didn't sleep with and bandages and was clean when I woke this morning.
The itching is the worst of it now.

The day after...

Ice is your friend.
I've not taken any pain meds today. The discomfort is manageable. The compression wrap is only comfortable when you are laying down. The instructions say to try not to let the wrap fold to avoid uneven healing, so laying down is a good option.
The leaking has slowed way down, the first few hours were the worst of it.
I'm a bit nauseous, not sure where that is coming from...hoping it passes soon.

Are just applying ice packs to your tummy? Trying to get helpful tips. I go in tomorrow morning. I'm nauseous just thinking about it.

I am alternating the ice packs on my tummy, sides and back; 30 min in each spot.
It helps with the pain, swelling and itching.
I was anxious going in too but so far so good; you will be fine.
Make sure you have someone helping to change your dressings, my kids abandon me today so ice been on my own, it's challenging.

How is your swelling no? Do you feel you got the results you wanted.

Still swollen, less now than this morning. I am optimistic based on what I see now that I will get the results I was expecting.
