Today was my first laser tattoo removal session. I'm going to Treasure Valley Tattoo Removal in Boise, ID. The pain wasn't nearly as bad as I was thinking it would be. It felt like a rubber band snapping on the skin, then like a bad sunburn. But now about two hours later it's only a slight burning feeling, like a mild sunburn. In my opinion, the aftermath hurt worse than the laser itself! I'll be updating my progress here for anyone curious! So so excited.
I can already see some of the shading GONE. He thinks it'll take 5 times to completely remove.

One day after first session!
I can already see a difference. Here's what it looked like after just one day! It's been a few days now, and it's even lighter! I'll post an update on Tuesday (one week after session 1)

As for what it feels like now, it's been 4 days now and it feels like a sunburn. It's bearable and not too uncomfortable. The sunlight kinda burns even through my shirt so I keep it covered with a couple layers to prevent sun from hitting it. No problems to report. It's still a little raised, but it's going down. I put ice pack on it and it feels much better!

Definitely some great just got a tat I regret and will be seeking laser removal in a few months once it heals. Keep it up and good luck!
