6 Week Post-Op Update

Hi everyone! My apologies for a really delayed post. Here are my 6 week pics. I feel great! I am really happy with my results. Since the surgery I have lost 20 lbs and Im in the mid-140s now. Ive gone from a size 10 to a size 6. I still have 10 lbs to go but am almost there. For me doing the surgery was helpful to kickstart a healthy new life alongside getting all the extra skin removed. Im doing the paleo healthy living method if anyone is interested in having a buddy with a similar method. I could use some motivation for these last lbs.

You will notice that I didnt do the traditional BL. I decided the day of to just get the implants since the breast scar was really a drawback for me. In the beginning, right after the surgery, I was positive I made a mistake but now Im really happy with that decision. They arent perfect but I am happy with how they turned out.

I didnt do lipo in the legs or anything to my butt. After looking at the pictures Im thinking I should have!

I stopped wearing the faja after week 5 but I may go back to wearing it. I am suppose to until the 12 week mark. Its just such a pain under clothes.

The small black dots you see are from the lipo. I hope they fade! Any suggestions on what to put on those scars. Im using Vitamin E currently.

This Monday I am going to start doing some Cardio to take that next step. However, I have noticed than when I move actively such as jumping or quickly walking my stomach and sides ache. Anyone else experiencing that?

1 Week and 1/2 PO

So, it's been a while since I've posted. I am feeling great. I actually went to work on Friday since I was feeling good enough. My back is still a little sore and I get tired easily but other than that things are going well.

My stomach is still swollen and actually feels really firm but my DR keeps assuring me that it is normal. I haven't seen my boobs yet, they are covered in tape, so I'm not sure what they look like. My husband keeps saying their too small but I'm waiting to see once I can actually see them properly. He actually has been not shutting up about how pissed he is they turned out so small, I'm starting to not want to talk about the SX with him because he's going to start depressing me.

I weighed myself today and I've lost about 10 to 12 pounds; which is good since I probably gained 4 to 5 in the last 30 days before surgery due to a lot of business travel. I've been eating super healthy (just veggies, fruits and poultry or fish) so I think that's a big part of it. I have now been without any soda for almost 2 weeks, pure torture for me. However, my skin has never looked so good!

The hard thing for me right now is not lifting my daughter. I've been doing my best but I've had to a few times. I don't want to cause any damage but I'm ready to get back to normal.

How soon can I drink wine?

Feeling Better

Sorry for the lack of a post. I haven't felt great and all the energy I have had has gone into spending time with the kids. Most of my pain is happening in my back but the daily massages helps with that. As much as I dread them I'm thankful after there done. .

My surgery went well, no complications. The recovery has been a little harder than expected but I feel like I'm finally making a turn for the better.

The medical staff has been amazing, and my Dr. has been very attentive. I can't wait to get the drain out so I can move around easier. I'm not really enjoying having to work around it.

I haven't taken any pics yet, haven't really got a chance to see how I really look yet.

Dr. Amaya has been wonderful thus far. My initial consult was wonderful and he spent as much time with me as needed and answered all of my questions. Through the surgery and afterwards he has continued being attentive to my questions and concerns. The only drawback for me has been his receptionist, she is extremely short and sometimes borders on rude. The rest of his staff has been incredible.
