Before deciding to have eye bag surgery, I decided to have the aqualyx which is injected and was suppose to break down and remove the fat. I was assured that only one treatment was needed, and results are usually best after 3 months. After the first month, I knew it was not going to work, they felt the same size but hard, after a three-month checkup the Dr (at BodyVie) said it doesn't always work the first time around and would I like a second treatment. I decline, not only worth the cost but my under eye bags looked the same and the fact that I had extremely swollen eyes for the first 3 weeks - meant it was not worth a second try. Under eye blepharoplasty surgery booked now.

I don't think it's designed for eye bags, I have had it on my waist and I was swollen for over 10 weeks. Can't imagine what you had gone through.

yes, huge difference. and my arm fat too
But if you were swolen for 10 weeks did you lose hope because the swelling still made it look enlarged? (i think that is what im going trough rn and i hope you have relatable answers) ty for answering.

I guess you can't keep hoping for it to go down, time goes by way too slowly that way. Instead, try to ignore it and you'd be surprised from time to time when you look in the mirror. it felt like a lipo for me, especially the first time around I was shocked by the egg shaped bulge in my lower abdominal area. It took quite a long time for everything to go down. As I had more sessions done, it almost feels like the more fatty tissue the area had, the more negative reaction it had. You have to be patient and think of it as a lipo done in an area that's unsuitable for the procedure. Hope this helps
