A year later!

I forgot to update! Here I am, nearly a year later.
BodyTite - helped but not enough. If I had to do it over again, I would just go tummy tuck. What I liked the most was the lipo that came with it - the sculpting of the body looks great! I do think it helped in the breast area a bit, but my stomach is just marginally improved.
Morpheus - DO NOT RECOMMEND. I am fully healed now, but I had scar marks for a long long time, those track marks. I have medium brown skin and we are just more susceptible to this. I healed after several months, it's fine, but it was a headache!
Overall, the best thing was the Lipo sculpting of my waist and the BreastTite. BodyTite did not tighten my stomach sufficiently. A mini-tuck is way more invasive but it's really the only option if I want to fix the looser skin. At this point, it's not worth the mini-tuck.
I'll try to upload photos.

Almost Two Weeks Out - Looking and Feeling Better!
MichiganMama123March 13, 2024
Tomorrow will be two weeks.
As I mentioned, I'm a bad bruiser and slow healer but things are progressing and I really like the way everything is turning out!
Morpheus - I think the pictures make dots look darker because the Google Pixel autocorrects the contrast. They are getting much lighter and many of the ones my chest are almost completely gone; the skin underneath the scabs is the typical new pink skin that will turn my flesh color in a week or two, like any normal wound. Turns out those scratches are from the Morpheus tip - I think the doctor slid the tip across instead of picking up and moving it. I scratch easy - looks like he figured that out because most of the scratches are just on the one breast. Anyways, they are very superficial scratches and so they are healing. Again the dots are disappearing nicely, probably one more week, which is about what I expected. The nurse said that the machine creates these 8mm channels that heal from the bottom to the skin surface, so those dots/scabs on the surface will be the last to heal.
Lipo/BodyTite - Bruises are healing and the swelling is way down! I did some home lymphatic massage and got a professional lymphatic massage a few days ago - I could really tell the difference the next day. But I love my new physique, even with the swelling! Most of the swelling is in the lower abdomen still, as you can tell. It's a bit firmer to the touch and still a bit sensitive.
Overall, I'm super happy. I am a nervous nelly and given some of the issues/complications I've seen on here, especially with Morpheus, I was really watching EVERY LITTLE THING for complications lol. I stressed myself out!
BreastTite- I have very low expectations for this; basically a Hail Mary because a lift is off the table for me. If I get a couple centimeters lift, yay! But my breasts DO feel a bit higher already and at my week post-op, the measurements confirmed that. The full effect won't be seen for a few months though.
Somethings that are helping me heal (in addition to the compression garment of course):
- I have a face red light machine (OmniLux) and I've been putting it over my Morpheus, since I'm SUCH a slow healer. It's helped. I didn't do the light on the Morpheus on my sides and they are healing more slowly.
- Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate that skin! I put lotion and hyaluronic acid serum (I use The Ordinary HA, only like $10 at Target!) and of course Arnica cream on the bruises, then Aquaphor on top of everything. At least twice a day and sometimes more. This allows the scabs to stay soft and moist and helps the skin to heal. Dry scabs come off too early. I'm very prone to scarring/hyperpigmentation, so I wanted to be careful with this.
- I wish I'd started Arnica and Bromelein supplements earlier. I think I would have bruised less. Also Bromelein must be taken on an empty stomach to really help with bruising/swelling. I didn't realize this until about a week ago.
- I thought my doctor was going to do PRP (platelet rich plasma) to help the Morpheus heal, but he didn't. I signed a consent for it, so I assumed he would. I never asked. If I did this again, I'd insist on it.
-Again, lymphatic massage really helped. There are some good YouTubes if you want to do it yourself. It won't be as good as a professional but in my case, it still helped a lot when I did it myself. Just remember, it's a light touch, not a real massage!
Happy to answer any questions! Adding pics - the bathroom lights are harsh/overhead and really make my stomach look a bit lumpier than I feel it actually is. I added some from the bedroom in more normal lighting.

3 days post - healing but weird Morpheus scratches
MichiganMama123March 3, 2024
Day 3- I'm healing! I was a bit worried comparing my pictures to others but I have to realize I'm a bad bruiser and a slow healer. It is what it is!
I gave myself some lymphatic massages after I got out of the shower. Everything feels okay. My worry is the Morpheus and making sure that heals properly. The Morpheus marks are healing just fine - no raised welts or patches. However, I'm concerned about all the scratches. What's up with that? I've never seen scratches like that on others. They are healing but still. I'll ask my doctor about it at my check up.

Do you have any more updates. I'm having the exact same procedures as you. How are you feeling and how is swelling and bruising now?
March 13, 2024
I will add an update as I'm just coming up on two weeks. I'm healing slowly which is typical for me but I'm really happy with how it's turning out!

So happy for you and glad to hear you're happy with how your results are looking. I'm a slow healer as well so trying to get an idea of what I have to look forward to, so thank you for your response. I have my procedure on April 4th. Very excited, yet nervous for the healing process!!

Good luck! Feel free to send me questions through messages as well. Just added my update!

I'm thinking of getting bodytite for upper and lower abs. I had lipo a few years ago and still have a c section shelf and when I sit down, I look like a sharpie dog with big rolls which I didn't have prior to lipo. I know you are supposed to have some skin folds when sitting but was wondering if you had them and if bodytite made them less pronounced? I'm close to 50 so unsure.

I didn't have those and it's too early to tell the effects of BodyTite quite yet. However, I don't think you get results that dramatic from BodyTite (marketing be damned lol!). For that, I'd imagine you'd have to start considering a tummy tuck but I'm not a doctor, just someone who's researched this a lot. I will say, there are some doctors who have really perfected the tummy tuck to minimize scarring and downtime, so I wouldn't take it off the table if I were anyone else. As for me, I just recover so slowly and, with two pretty young kids, I just don't have a lifestyle where I feel like I can commit to the recovery. I'd be doing too much and would likely compromise my results.
One thing I've learned is with these minimally invasive technologies, you are relying on the body to respond properly. And who knows how and whether it will; it's out of our control. With a surgery, the doctor is more in control and results are more able to be predicted. Just my two cents!

But very very happy with the skin tightening and physique changes! So overall, happy. And I still have about a month of skin tightening left. If nothing else improves from here on out, I'm still happy with it.
