5-week update - super happy

At 5 weeks, I had pretty visible changes, as you can see in the pics my doctor took. I was doing zero strength training, and I think that with just a bit of strengthening I'll be where I want to be. I have much less hanging skin and fat, and I'm totally satisfied.

Before photo

I meant to include this photo with my initial review. My arms each measured 11 inches at their fullest points. You can see I had quite a bit of sagging, especially on right arm. (Weird that they're different!)

I'll update once I hit the 4 week post-procedure mark. Right now, at 2 weeks post, I don't see much change, but it's a bit hard to say, as I'm wearing the compression garment almost constantly.

Couldn't Have Been Easier or More Painless

I'm only 12 days post-procedure and can't speak to the outcome yet. But wanted to share that the procedures themselves - I had tickle lipo + BodyTite on my arms - were extremely easy and painless. Shockingly so.

When I arrived for the procedures, I was giving Ativan. An hour later, I was given more Ativan. Then she injected lidocaine into my arms for the pain. No other pain agent or anesthesia. The procedure took about 90 min today - roughly 45 for the tickle lipo and 45 for the BodyTite. There was zero pain or discomfort. The doctor, nurse, and I listened to music and chatted throughout. It was honestly relaxing - like a day at the spa.

Post-procedure, I dressed myself in the compression garment. My driver brought me home because the Ativan makes you loopy. I hung out with my family and then went to bed. The doctor wrote me a script for pain killers, but I never filled it. In fact, I never even took a Tylenol. There was just no pain whatsoever.

I had taken the next day off work but didn't need to. I was completely comfortable and alert.

In the next couple of days, my arms were visibly swollen - but not so much that anyone beside me would notice. I've been wearing the garment faithfully and ended up buying a 2nd one from my doctor so I could wash and dry one while wearing the other. The garment is annoying in the summer - it's hot on its own and then you have to wear long sleeves.

I have no bruising, which surprised me. And there's so little discomfort that it's a challenge to take things easy. I've been doing lots of walking and and gardening, although I avoid picking up anything heavy.

I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs. My challenge is mainly loose skin due to losing my pregnancy weight and overall aging (I'm 45). I'm really hoping for less sagging, but I don't see much change yet. My doctor says it will be 4 weeks before I notice a difference and 6 months before I see the full result. Fingers crossed.

Meanwhile I'm wearing this stupid garment and may start spending less time in it so I can go out and be social without long sleeves. Doc says 4-6 in the garment, which is going to be impossible.
